  1. Mmm disagree with that. I know quite a few Lambo owners who are arse holes, there can be in all camps. You really do need to hook up with the Ferrari comunity to see 90% are not Knob heads.
  2. Does any one know when this particular Ferrari episode will be repeated at all please? What side was it on?
  3. Talking of BMWs, last month i met up with an M6 G-power 800 BHP monster. I met the car and the guy at the petrol station while driving through the Dolomite mountains in Italy on the way to Germany. I have never seen such a car before and we drove together for 60ish miles. the car was a V10 with twin superchargers. the conversion alone cost a staggering £300,000 and thats after you have took your standard M6 to the tuning company:shock: Heres two videos that my son took of the car while we were driving. The G-power left my 400bhp car like i was standing still, truly an amazing tool. enjoy the vids....or not:p http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1r9iMImjR7U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE6zc48FUgk
  4. They also do a chrome Merc SLR, 599 and Veyron to. They can look good, i have personaly seen the veyron and a 599 in chrome.
  5. Yes its true, its quite a controversial point/subject thats often discussed on the Ferrari forums. Just do a search on Ferrari and Lambourghini fires this year alone. Obviously if one does not move in the Ferrari circles then one does not hear about it. Its a sin in 2009 that they cant get it right yet:( Fortunately.....or unfortunately in have had 4 Ferraris to date and one Lambourghini, so thats why i spoke up. Two guys i personaly know have lost there cars a few weeks after there services. Heres a video for your audio pleasure;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqRNLJL9uEc Now these can burn...in both ways:eek:
  6. So very young, not good news. RIP
  7. Just a little insider information for anyone who cares;) Ferraris and Lambourghinis can have a habit of bursting into flames. Both Lambos and Ferraris can have the same fuel supply line lay out which has always been a bad design from the get go. Mainly because of the rear engine lay out. The main problem is when the fuel pipes are removed for say an engine out. Then they are over tight end and crack. These fuel lines are usually found right above the hot manifolds and drip if they are cracked:eek: Thats why one usually finds that a ferrari or indeed a Labmourghini may set on fire very soon after a service. There is a patten that we are aware of. So as a preventative measure the fuel line connections are checked regularly for cracks ect. I check mine regularly. So by the very nature of this lay out, if a car is crashed. The fuel lines can rupture and spray onto the manifolds. Now you know :p
  8. Interea looks kind of exotic, love it:)
  9. That engine conversion looks great. What are the power specs on that lump? Great job!
  10. If a 400bhp ZX had 400lbs of torque, if it did pass i dont think it would comfortably pass. Even though it may pass.
  11. I know its slightly OT in a way. Not realy into BMWs realy, but i met up with an M6 tuned by G-power last month. It one of them 800BHP monsters. He played with me like i was a little mouse, and i was in a 400bhp car. A mighty car them G-power M6s:bow:
  12. Yep i saw that baby at the Supercar sunday show. Although there is 5% of the engine bay that i dont think is my taste, the other 95% is fantastic. Very nice.
  13. For what its worth and i know it may not be worth much. But that ebay picture does not sell the bumper at all.
  14. Amazing looking engine. Well done.
