My god:eek: thats over 600lbs:eek: To put that into perspective i am 20 stone my self and have been bodybuilding for 27 years. I can bench 8 44lbs plates (thats 396lbs) for reps. Your mate is using 16! 44lb plates with two 10lb plates to make 600lbs:eek: The mans incredible, who is he? is he a power lifter? whats his weight? Shocking story there mate, very disgracefully indeed. Its also shameful that the nets full of forums that cant name and shame because of legal issues. For warning might have forwarded you before taking your car to the rouge garage. This kind of crap happens all over the car range. I can tell you about Ferrari and Lamborghini owners with equally disgraceful stories of rouge specialists. Cant you take your bits and pieces to Jeff to rebuild the car for you?

If i may i would like to offer my thoughts, please remember these are only thoughts. It does not really matter what you do to a 300zx in terms of tuning. You will never make your hard earned money back once you want to sell. And in most cases you will loose a large % from the cars value, especially if you use another engine from another car. Although no one is arguing that you would enjoy the extra performance. Now to the wonderful NSX, wow! now this car is worth 5-7 times that of a Nissan 300zx. I would say tuning this car in anyway has to be done with the full backing of a reputable NSX company. If not your NSX will be unsaleable. So why not if space allows, keep the 300zx and buy a NSX as well. Then you will have two of the best Japanese supercars to grace our roads. But if you have to make a choice of the two and have the cash, go for the NSX.

Not forgetting that David broke his finger in the second round. So the little man took the world champion title from the seven foot giant, disabled some what;)

This kind of thing has never made sense to me. Its going to be sold to some one anyway. Anyway very nice Zed mate, like the wheels.

Base line is that you cant put any form of non standard plates on an extrovert body kitted car. Its always going catch the eye. The police will want to get you for some thing and the plate is an easy option. Now if the same fonted plates were on an every day car, it stands more of a chance of getting away with it.

Looks very nice, though not sure about the rear wing. What size wheels are they 18s?

That car probably has a remote bypass valve which is the key to stationary sound changes. This exhaust company makes them for exotics as well as for certain BMs, if you watch 2.05 into this video it explains how it works. I have one my self (not on my Z), and at a stand still i have one kind of sound and with a switch adjustment the sound changes drastically. Though i dont usually do it at a stand still because there is no benefits to doing this. The bypass valve will automatically open as the car drives at over 4,500rpm on the road. So bellow 4,500rpm the car uses just two exhaust tail pipes, above it uses all four. This increases the cars power and changes the sound. You can adjust when the valve opens at what ever rpm by the controll box. Hope you understand and it makes sense.

I know i hate them my self. I wish they would leave the 300zx lights alone, its sacrilege.

I think he is quoting that power because of the Nitrous oxide system he has installed.
