in that case m8 wouldnt cars that dont have recircs such as rs turbos and the like make this sound!Also i thought this may have had something to with the wastegate!maybe i need to learn some more about turbos :)

I had a pulsar gtir a few years back,the car was tuned to arround 300 bhp with the usual mods and a chip.When i picked the car up on the monday i noticed it was chattering and thought mmm sounds the buisness ,when i finally got to having a good look at the dv i realised the vacume pipe wasnt connected, after connecting the pipe i got the usual dv sound and the chattering.The car was boosting to 1 bar but to this day i have no idea what caused the chattering even at very low revs just as boost was coming in it would make the sound,i would love to no what caused it so jaffa im as interested as to finding this out as you are:).

I had a custom exaust fitted just after i got mine in from japan mate ,straight through all the way to the back boxes no silencers ,sounds awsome,the next day it was smoking so bad i couldnt see behind me,in my view it does highlight the problem of the seals if there already on the way out.Power gain i noticed straight away it was a significant increase but be aware if you do need to replace the turbos its going to cost a packet.I have a very good mate doing mine so i have saved a lot of money there but whilst the engine is out change a few other things,i've done crank seal, pcv valves, bypass plenum, plugs, cam belt, thurmostat, clutch, rocker cover, gaskets changed pipes, BoV's and cleaned all conections.So far its cost over £2500 pound and its still got to go to zed world and be set up and chipped.it will be worth it in the end but just think before you do it mate.

Me and i wana cry it was so nice yesterday and all the chavs were driving arround in there corsers and i dont wana admit this but OMG i had to drive the misses fooking fiesta k reg that looks like sh*t ooooooooooo,even they were laughing at me.Two months in total so far and i still havent recieved the turbs :(.

i have a p5nd2 mother board and after building it had the same prob,but i set up a duel boot for 64 bit and updated everything and it went,maybe the updating sorted it i dont no,i was going to fix after i was set up but it stopped doing it anyway.

I decated mine ooooo must be a few months back now.The zed didnt blow any smoke before that and after on tickover i couldnt see behind me,cars still in bits waiting for the turbos,better give him a phone:).If your willing to take the risk do it but be prepaired for a big bill if it goes wrong m8.

i agree m8 ,games like half life 2, condemed, battlefield2 etc are worth the money ,very few games are worth the cash the rest arn't worth unpacking to play.

I dont agree ,well yes in a way divx ,vcd,svcd etc isnt worth the cd its put onto ,but then again i will only watch dvd rips so the quality is 100%.£10 pound for the box ,nah £10 pound in the petrol tank

Hi mate, With Cliffords Turbo timer, is it correct that the car stays on for 3 minutes EVERYTIME you turn off? Do you have any user control? nope when u turn the car off it turns off ,if you want to activate the turbo timer you press (i think as i havent driven it for months)the ** button before you turn the car off ,the rev guage will then drop and you pull the key out then get out the car and activate the alarm which auto locks the doors ,the car will run for 2 mins before turning off

I had a 650 fitted a few months ago mate ,i had a turbo timer fitted to the car and the guy said best not to use the existing one as the 650 has a built in turbo timer,but it may have just been easier for him to wip the ttimer off. question 2 the answere is yes.The guy who fitted mine said he had fitted quite a few to zeds and was quite easy hardest thing is just setting up the door motor for the remote locking .

cheers for the responce :)mark thats the bloke,i was just interested in what other people thought,he's doing mine at the moment although just the turbos as i have a mate thats doing the rest of the work to the car.I think he takes the how shall i say the layed back approach as from the time of payment (well trying) its been nearly 5 weeks and a part he has been waiting for has taken 2 weeks and they still wont be ready until next thursday,every extra week is costing me £70 pound for the unit i've got:(. you mean oil feed pipes to the turbos?yampidog

chewe i found a few picks of the SWB ,other pics from outside the house are on my other pc .these were taken in japan before i got the car ,sh*t looking at em now i wish i had never sold it ,i really dont want to look at the others outside the house :(

FunkySi I'm taking my zed to France in 4 weeks time.....it's in bits too. But should be back with me maybe next weekend. i thought that 6 weeks ago and mine is still in pieces ,hope you get yours sorted dude:)
