  2. Halfords and most motorfactors do self bleed kits, they work well.
  3. I have Falkens on the back of mine, I went up to 275/40/17. They look much more in proportion from the side view too. Have a look at a site called "the tyre bible" it will explain everything about tyres.
  4. £50 on 120 miles, that's not bad, better than mine and not long serviced.
  5. How would I tell what my turbos are? I have my ebc set at 60% ( ? ) in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd I know I have turbos, in 4th and 5th feels like a normal car.

  7. Ellow you lot, My headlight bulb blew so I ordered some uprated H3B's, they have 2 connectors on the bottom that fit to a block connector. I reciever H3's, these have 1 wire coming from it, but the base will fit the light unit. Can I just earth the bulb to the body, or make up a wire back to the connentor block to make it work? Cheers peeps
  8. I get about 60-70 miles to half a tank from full around town. On a run down the M4 I'm getting 140ish to the same half tank from full. I'm sure I was getting more before I had it serviced.
  9. I had a thing like that, it was my mk3 supra shacking while braking. Turned out to be the new disc had a crack between 2 stud holes.
  10. My Road Angel indicates a faster speed than the speedo. RA says 50mph, speedo says 45mph, RA at 78, speedo at 70, 3000 rmp and uncle plod for 4 junctions up the M4. we were passing everybody!
  11. Thats great, thanks. It's a TT. The speedo reads 70mph at 3000rpm, it feels quicker tho.
  12. Hi all, Could any one tell me how fast the speedo reads in 5th gear at 2000 and 3000rpm please.:detective: Cheers
  13. I'll be dropping mine off on the 8th
  14. Make sure you do not run out of fuel on track, that's a heavy fine. Make sure the tow eyes are indicated and accessable. Change the brake/clutch fluid to DOT5 or better. Anything in the car that aint bolted in, take it out. Check all other fluid levels every time you go back to the pits. Take a small pump for a few extra psi in the tyres. And the most important of all, put your hat on and have some fun.
  15. Thanks guys, I'll be giving Zedworld a ring then.
  16. Hi all, the Z is in need of a good service and heater matrix, and some bits and pieces. I live in Slough, can any one recomend where to take it to have the work lovingly carried out. Cheers Kev

  22. Don't let her deal with it on her own, sound like she needs your support big time. As soon as she can see that you are there for her, things will start to get better. All the best.
  23. I had trouble with the rear end trying to step out under normal driving. The guys here told me to change the rear shocks, it's like a new car now.
  24. I stuck one on mine, I'm no mechanic, but found it simple but awrrrkward. Follow that guide and take your time, you'll do fine.
