Ah!-you can turn the engine hundreds of times mate before they will line up! If your at TDC and the ref marks are lining up your fine.:wink: Bear in mind tho' they are only ref marks!

marks on the belt as in the lines? or the pulley marks to backplates?

Just a point,if fitting a 99 spec you don't need repeaters(so my mot guy said!) You can see the indicator at a certain angle so it's o.k.:chinese:

Finished off the sill repair and de-scabbed both sides, Then re-stonechipped the sills, While that was drying I took the old exhaust off ready for the shiny cat back japspeed one-the old one is well knackered! Before fitting the new 'zorst the underside was Shultzed, The I fitted the new system,just a note that I was well impressed with this,straight on only the slightest tweak to get the tailpipes level! The sills then got a coat of base from a rattle can, Then laquered-color match is quite good for an aerosol!:smartass: More as it happens folks!:hammer:

Which they wont, backplate marks are for Ref' only-look here, http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=135139 Egr plates are easily made from a bit ally plate,2mm would do. As for sealer,Rhondaseal if you can still get it,Brilliant stuff!:chinese:
