Had this on a vauxhall years back,the lifters need squeezing to get the oil out basically they hold the valves open!-and BTW,just because ''nothing hits nothing'' doesn't mean the timing isn't out.

Got a week off so I thought I would wash,wax,machine polish,wax again,hoover,re-buff the rims,clean the leather etc,etc.-you get the idea!:hammer: Hope the camera does it justice! None of the engine bay tho' as it's still mingin' LOL! Could fall back in love with it???:death:

A few options, get oe bushes and fit to old arms, get complete s/h arms or adjustables with rose jointed ends.Poly bushes tend to fook the lower radius arm but I'm sure there was a softer make about?.................:detective:
