  1. I did write a short thread a few years ago on how to do it, but as I can remember, remove the Centre panel, unclip the metal clips from around the housing and heat the glass around the edges with a heat gun, obviously taking care not to melt the wings and bumper ( cover them up) and slowly work your way around with a large screwdriver/ scraper and pull the lens off. There may be a few other little bits I've forgotten but it's fairly easy, I've done it to both my zeds. When I'm back on my pc ( not my phone) I will post a few pics ;)
  2. Nice bargain mate! happy dayz
  3. WOW!!!! Nice work, they are better than new :] just for info, It is possible to remove the glass from the headlight without taking the full housing out! I know this doesn't apply to your full rebuild, but for peeps just wanting to clean up inside the light unit, its possible
  4. Wow 7mill!!! A few miles from here in a place called Formby. A fella had 2 Veyrons!!! His and hers! One plate was E1 and the other was B1!!!!! Obviously Bugatti is EB, just ridiculous! I've not seen them for a while now, I think he sold them? They were always driving about
  5. Looking good! Not much work needed to make a full garage really, back Doors a few infils and some strip lights and the Wife won't see you again ;)
  6. And yes! Still got the black skip! She's in the garage by the radiator ;)
  7. Cheers troops!! Only bought the GTO so my zeds didn't take the winter salt hit :) but thanks she is lovely Yes steamer she's ex military and gonna drive over your weedy zed next time I'm around your way ;) Bazza!! Don't worry mate I've nit won the lottery, it's just a show plate, I priced it up last week and came across DL 9 for 34k!!!!!!! Haha
  8. And same wheels on my z31 :)
  9. Wow!!! That Shiro is beautiful!! Looks better than some z32's driving about!
  10. Oooooooo!!! That digi dash!!! I did a deal on eBay a few years ago and bought the Dash and all wires and Control boxs to convert mine to digi for £150. After a lot of messing the fella went quiet on me and I've not heard since :((((
  11. nice!!!!!!! but looks like Z-nuts lounge in that car ;) 12.7 k!!!!! cant wait for the z31 and z32 to be those prices !!! :)
  12. Cool!!!! I'm really tempted to sell mine as I have too many projects & cars at the moment. I would love a turbo version..... (just coz its a Turbo) but yeh, Maybe I should keep her a little longer until its really worth selling ;)
  13. HAHA, Thanks mate, that nice :) Yes!!! life 'is' too short, I work hard, like most of us on here and we love our toys. I would love a brand new Pagani Huayra up my drive :) ....but these old Jap car make me happy and that all I can afford :) At Christmas a family member said to me "why do you always buy cheap old cars?? "? I laughed and said you drive a Mondeo don't you?.......I know what I'd rather drive for 10k less........2 old jap supercars
  14. No worries bud, good luck with it. You obviously know that you need to spend at least £500 (what I can see) on it for a full service and body repairs! but even with that spent you have got a nice future classic to float around in. To be honest, I would go in for the kill and offer him £250, he can only say no! then go up slowly to the £400 max ;)
  15. Haha, yeh!! its massiv!! feels big too when driving around, but unbelievably grippy and can be thrown around without any worries ;)
  16. this is mine when it was nice :)
  17. Yep get it bought!!!! I can honestly say, I've hardly done anything to mine!, I've had it for about 9 years and changed the rear shocks (easy) and changed the maf when I first bought it (easy)!! apart from that its done about 80 miles in 9 years!! I bought it cheap from a barn find and was in mint condition when I bought it but sadly its started to rust on the rear lower arches and around the door mirrors :( everything else is great and i know I could go to her now with a charged battery and it will start 1st time and drive mint (if the flywheel hasnt rusted to the box) hahah Deffo a future classic and especially in the Turbo version!!! they are a big wallowing heavy lump and nothing at all like the z32 to drive, but somehow feels special
  18. Cheers peeps :) I always knew you liked red Andy :flowers:
  19. CheerZ Mincey :) I appreciate your love haha ;)
  20. I know you lot hate my GTO ,Haha But its not often both cars get parked next to each other I'm glad I did today as my love for the 300zx has just risen a little after seeing them together :)
  21. I think I would be snapping that up!! 1, its a turbo version (rare) and 2 its also the manual version :) so quite a rare beast you have found I have the z31 too but mine is the older version and non turbo, but manual :) As the lads have mentioned, they are looking really retro cool at the moment and I cant see you loosing any money on that for £400! let me know if you dont buy it as I would be interested :)
  22. Happy Birthday dude!!! have a great one :)
  23. It's Daz btw :) Got myself a really cheap 96 gto n/a auto in red with cloth seats, it's slow, it's heavy but everything works and its in real good nick :) I've used it quite a bit over Christmas and its growing on me lots, I would never swap it for my zeds but I really do think they look better! More muscle car and bulky, I really don't know why they are hated so much? Cracking car!!!
  24. Welcome back to the club , Just got myself a GTO too , loving it at the moment, not as good as the zed but looks better and a lot more comfortable , just need some snow to test the 4wd :D
