OMG!! Its just typical!! problems right before JAE , I hope you get them all sorted mate, I`m still struggling too, glad yours is nearly there though :)

Ok, I`m finally getting to the bottom with my starting issues!! The car wouldn't start at all tonight and it stinks of neat fuel from the exhausts I have found that the fuel pump is pumping even with no key in the ignition!! Its making its pumping sound and also there is a hissing sound in the engine bay by the fuel pressure regulator!! Is this normal? why is the fuel pump on all the time? any help is appreciated Thanks Daz

No!!!! Mines gone worse!! it will not start at all now, and it stinks of petrol from the exhaust :( So after another visit from PhilP we attached the laptop with Nissan datascan, no fault codes came up, but interestingly we found that even without the key in the ignition the fuel pump is running all the time and a hissing noise from the engine bay right by the 2nd fuel pressure regulator!!! Its definatley the fuel pump as data scan has a option to turn the pump on/off :( So wtf!!!! why is the fuel pump on all the time even with no key in the ignition!! HELP!!!!! :( I`m going to start a new help thread on my issue :(

Ahhh, thats a bugger mate, our search still goes on for the problem :(, I had a nice drive out in mine today with no problems, its just starting the bugger from cold, time for a zedworld call me thinks to get her booked in :)

Yeh, one on the left has the injector type connector :-) - - - Updated - - - Does water piss out when the sensor comes out?

Lol, Jeff did mention the temp sensor, but I don't know how to fix it, tried to call zed world today to book it in, but they must be having a day off

Thanks Jaffa' glad you mentioned that as last time I tried my air con it came out warm air!!!, is the temp sensor the one on the left or right looking at the engine?

Ha,ha ..she gets nothing but TLC , I think she`s seen the TT go for a little drive out and gone on strike coz she had to stay out in the cold :)

Not sure Gaz,:) its just playing up when she's cold, it starts fine when warm, but takes a good 10 turns to fire the bitch up :(((( looks like no JAE for me if i don`t get it fixed :(
