  8. Ohhh nice, I`m toying with a new spray job on the vert for next year.
  9. :cowboy: Have you done your`s yet?? i need to see some pics as I`m not convinced  I love my chrome on Black :gunsmilie:
  10. I`ve got 2 good Auto boxes, 1 fooked auto and Madmaxs Manual box that i won for free  that I`m keeping for Shrek, sorry mate , keep your eyes peeled on flea bay for a manual, mine was only £350 for the complete conversion :gunsmilie:
  11. Wow, I would love all that space :punk:, In my little garage I have 4 gearboxs, 2 engines, umpteen parts and my TT, sooo can you look after the yellow one please Gary? I will push it in the Southport sea in the morning and it will float to you in Ireland, keep a look out for it
  12. Yeh, my cheap hong kong head unit is shiny piano black and looks quite good, so I will go for the same effect, if it looks pants he can spray it again to more of a stock colour. Cheerz :flowers:
  13. Cheers Martin, I`ve done mine a little different, I have secured the head unit in place first and I`m using the facier as a cover, I though it would be easier this way, I have done away with the plastic cover trim that hides the screws and the facier just slides over quite easy, hope it works :sweatdrop:
  14. thanks mate, yes, just 3 little screws behind the main unit and they come off easy:wink:
  15. Not sure yet, I think its best to keep it stock looking, but my mate who sprays my stuff has done his 200sx facier in piano black and it look the nuts, what would you do?:thumbup1:
  16. Not cheeky at all mate, Good and bad news! even thought they look good in the pictures they are a little on the small side, they fit perfect height wise but they leave a 10mm gap either side of the fog holes, at the moment the holes are filled with black silicon and look tacky close up, I have today been messing about with pieces of perspex and window tint, tying to get the perfect finish, but its hard to get it to look factory/ish, the lights are really cheap from Hong kong, i will add a link when i find it, so mine are an experiment really, and I`m looking hard to find some decent ones that fit perfect as i love the look of the leds. Daz.
  17. Baz its not hard at all mate, Its only like icing a cake!! mix the body filler, let it go hard and then keep sanding and testing the fit until it fits perfect. just trial and error, if it goes too deep or out of shape, add more filler:wink:
  18. No mate, I`ve got that one in my TT , the double din one is from the yellow car, i used it as an experiment as it was cracked in the corner. Not sure on the stealth look yet, my girlfriend likes the chrome better as do my mates and some of the neighbours as they were round at mine today:yes: but i will swap and see what they look like when all finished
  19. The yellow one does let the side down a little!! Its amazing how high the suspension goes when the engine is out!!
  20. I think there are about 15 in Southport now
  21. Call round any time Chris, No worries about the let down as i think my mate is having the car as a project! Let me see what i can do about those bits for you :cool3:
  22. Thanks Gaz, I know, I need a 1000ft garage 1000ft wide too, my bird is going mad, shes gotta get her mini up the drive too
  23. I`ve been messing all weekend trying to get the double din facier to look right, so here it is not quite finished, a little more sanding and shes ready for the paint. Also been painting the headlight inners and might be going for the stealth look, but not quite sure yet? I still like the chrome headlights:whistling:
  24. I used a hairdryer and a glass sucker to get mine off, You can pick glass suckrs up from about £3 for a cheap one that does the job just fine
