i would preder to have mine rebuilt as i wouldnt want to put my faith in another engine even if it does have warrunty. i would want it rebuilding all stock with new turbo's pumps cambelt, etc etc basicly just for peice of mind knowing that the car will last a few more years, then i can look to get the bodywork done how i want it.

i have a 1990 twin turbo import lwb, just wondering how much a stock rebuild would cost and where i could get it done, im due my whiplash claim shortly and will be putting whatever i get towards getting it done, just after some ideas of price though for now???

haha ,mines quite a mess i havent had chance to do anything to it yet, exterior is scratched all over the place interior needs re trimming as looks a bit ragged, seats need changing ... however it will be good for you to all see it in this state as when the summer comes and ive had everything done and car resprayed etc u can all notice the difference. i think ill leave the dirt on it, covers up a few scratches. :)

lol yup he does indeed- my shift is 10 pm till 6 am so, undortunatley the bat has to get some kip during the daytimea :D however i will stay for a few hours and see what happens from there

im interested, u mean full zed boss with quick release or just the zed boss kit? and how much you want for it?

Im looking to buy in the next few weeks a quick release steering wheel, i know i need a wheel that will fit the quick release Boss but do i need to worry about anything else , ie - will most boss's fit the zed , are they universal or do i need a specific boss, also would it affect anything on the car- obv the cruise control buttons i know but im willing to wire that up another way. thanks

I remember watching Jean claude Van Damme's 'TIME COP ' and seeing the ZED in a scene in the mall where he stops the theid with the purse, it was advetising the Zed as a brand new car :D Just yesterday i watched a film- quite old called TEEN AGENT' and a woman is getting chased by a lotus and she is in a white zed with the targas off. everytime i see a film with a Zed in it no matter how ce@p the film i have one big cheesy grin on my face. any other movies with Zed's in where they have a decent part ??

when putting my foot down and then breaking heavily i sometimes am hearing a bong noise the same as the noise when you leave your lights on and turn off the engine and open the drivers door- no lights come on on the dash - i just here the noise- at first i thought it was the radio but then i had a different cd in today and i heard it again. any ideas as to this sound and what the car is trying to tell me??

lol mot is the main issue as i use the fog light rarely- but i cant find anywhere that sells a bog standard red bulb- they all seem to be led, i may foil the inside of it aswell to make it reflect out a bit more, may brighten things up, cheers grooves :D

it sits in the housing fine and the led itself is bright- but i think due to there being no reflective surfaces inside the rear indicator section that may be why its not looking bright when its in the housing and on. - do i need to cover the inners red and use a clear bulb ? or can i buy a normal red bulb? - not too keen on the led one tbh so after i tried it i gave it back as it didnt do the job i wanted.
