would a targa roof stop the electromagnet thingy working properly as i cant see there being much to grip with all the glass ???

ok guys i have been saving for a week now and next week i am intending on giving jeff a call to see if he can book me in to get the zed looked at and if poss a tow there. however something strange happened yesterday night just before work, my landlady who i live with said to me i need to move my car forward down the drive a little as the rest of the driveway is getting re paved. i went out to the car started her up put it into drive and reved it till it slowly rolled forward to where i needed it. however i had driven onto a peice of old carpet that hadnt been put into the bin so i thought ill try the same trick but in reverse, nothing dead gearbox still, i put it in drive and reved and the car shot forward like it is working normally, so i put it back into reverse, when i put it in reverse the gear actually clicks as u get a slight slight jolt from the car i pressed the accelerator and it reversed like normal. i did it a few times just to check it and it was working again. the only issue it has is when i put it back into park it sounds as if the (whatever spins is called) it sounds like its spinning as i can hear a whirring/little vibration noise coming from the rear under the car, as if its still in Drive but not connected if you catch my drift ??? please can someone shed a little light or does this still mean the gearbox is completly gone and i need another putting in ?????? thanks ps i still am not driving her till its sorted :D

the little fat dude does my nut in ! the guy in the garage is ok he explains a few minor details as he foes which can be helpfull or interesting, but as for the little cheapskate in his leather jacket, i hate his guts, maybe in real life he is a real nice guy, but on the show he is a complete muppet :D

my only issue with vista was my old printer was not compatible so i had to buy a new one just to be compatible with vista, but other than that it was very secure. however windows 7 is the dogs ;)

i need to get it to jeff in tamworth anybody know how i can get it there , as will need towing probably with the rear wheels in the air as it wont reverse off the drive. i dont know anyone with a tow truck ?

I was on the way to london on the m40 ro take my friend to look at a new car and my car started to make a strange noise- i was in cruise control at the time and doing 68 mph, there was then a squeeling noise and tyhe car went very heavy so i turned off the cruise control and pulled onto the hard shoulder. i put the car back into drive , but nothing it didnt click into gear like a normal automatic would, so i tried 1,2 and park , still nothing..... AA came and took me home , but more issues as we couldnt roll the car off the flat bed truck it was as if it was sruck in park or the handbrake was on, after the aa man (who was only a recovery driver not a mechanic) got me off the flatbed with a bit of banging down by the wheel ( i couldnt see what exactly as i was in the car) he managed to sort of pull the flat bed from under me and i was stuck on the road. i then had to get it onto my drive which was a tad behind my car, so i put the car inro drive and reved a little, it slowly moved forwards. i got to the bottom of my road and turned it around without using any revers, as revers doesnt work at all, i got it back up to my house and safley on the driveway. i have now realised i can not get it off the drive as it wont reverse, but does anyone know what the problem could be???? there was no bangs or smoke or nothing it didnt sound bad but there is obviously an issue, the aa man reckons it could be the diff?? im no mechanic but i need help really bad , as i need my car for xmas to viit family :D anyone ???

if its a stick man ill happily do it, anything else then ill have serious issues :D on a serious note, i hope someone can help

yeh the only upgrades i was thinking were bigger turbos better injectors and better exhaust system (later) with better air intake system , but the rest as stock, i just want it so i can (once its done) add a boost controller and get a little more power without blowing myself up. 2k was a rough price i had in mind, then a bit extra for other upgrades any ideas who is best to take it too to get this done , or is it a straight foward job for a normal mechanic ? ( ie a friend of mine/ )
