  1. Can't PM mate but drop me an email with what you want for it. gordonparker76@btinternet.com
  2. Flaming hell mate. Surely the sills can be repaired or replaced???? I'm sure it would cost a few quid. I would take it on as a project if it that was the case
  3. That looks like one hell of a buzz. I would love to give that a go, but unlike other adrenaline fixes I've tried you need to be bloody good at it. It's easy to jump out of a plane, but that sh@t takes skills
  4. The bike was running on 2 cylinders and it had a nasty rattle from the top end. A bit of detective work over the phone discovered that a mate of his had fitted a new throttle cable. When I looked at it he had nipped a fuel line between the carb and frame starving two carbs of fuel. This was sorted with nothing more than a pair of pliers. The rattle was a cam chain tensioner (noted for going wrong on these) £12 of fleaby. Dropped the carbs off fitted the new one, and fanny's your aunt. Runs like a dream :hyper:
  5. Switched to a couple of nice twins there......I looked at an RSV R last year. You can pick an early one of those up for a couple of grand
  6. I'm still using an old BT one, they say you can keep it but with a one off charge....Didn't pay it and email still live 6 months on
  7. Which GSXR you got, last one I had was the 750 WN bit of a porker but it had a 916 back end...looked the muts nuts
  8. Wrong time of year to buy mate, saying that there are some bargains around as people are cutting back, and selling up. I'm not a fan of fleabay but there are some bargains around. This one didn't sell and I made an offer to save it being relisted. This ones going back to good o'l Ninja Green:hyper:
  9. Picked it up at a steal as it was running like a bag of hammers. felt a bit guilty as I knew what it was and the bloke had no clue and was at his wits end. Cost £12 to sort out
  10. Same deal with Tesco, although they piggy back another network, it has to be their sim
  11. Similar story to the guy who had his bank cards stolen, the bank called him and said we've had your cards handed in, can you come down with some id.
  12. I opened this post and scrolled straight to Si's comment, without stopping. And dissapontment eluded me again :bow: I would love to be a fly on the wall when your bird asks if her Arse looks fat:smash:
  13. Thought this wasn't on until the 27th. It was the one with Petes Z wasn't it:( http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=126867&highlight=5th+gear
  14. First one's a members car (Lusitano), and I don't think £1500 will do it. From experience of looking around, anything you pick up for £1500 will need some serious work of some description. It's difficult to say without having a good look at the car, but £2500 should get you a reasonable starting point. £4-5K will get you something sorted. above that there are some stunning examples There are a lot of very knowledgeable people on here and if you lucky they may cast an eye over for you:cool:

  16. It's been listed 4 times now with a reserve of £4.5K first time.....No bids (starting price £2.5K) second time...Reached just over £2K third time £2900 Now on for a fourth time. Says a lot about perceived value of Z's at the moment
  17. Didn't hear any rumours bud. just didn't have the cash. Would have been happy to buy it
  18. It's the 4th time it's been listed, I know what the reserve is and I also know what it bid up to the last 3 times. Looks like a clean standard example, just imported http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=220447612000
