Driving the T5-r tonight did not feel the surge of power that the Z has but definately noticed the speed/pickup if u know what I mean. Looking forward to comparison on the pod,,,my standard grandat to a Z :bow: Ferking funny if I waste one eh....especially as a front wheel drive.... Z's as common as shite now...hehehe

not a prob mate, funny that people ask about economy tho on a 3l turbo....its not happening. Wish I had been the chairman of Shell if you know what I mean..?

not being funny matey but if u want to drive any 3 litre car in town expect 15 mpg at best. If you want economy then a Smart would be nice.

Mate, being totally honest, the Z is timeless, looked the best in the 90''s and the same now. When u drive one people do stop and look..seriously, they really do. A fantastic car which deserves a little respect from the modern supercar (Lambo liked it so mutch they used the headlights)...300 HP standard (TT) and all the electrical bits. No comparison mate. Probe...designed for the american market, thats why its so hard to get parts. not that I am biased but come on....What do you really want...Ford or 300ZX I know what I want.

just a thought, mine did the same when weather was nice after a crap spell. Used to do what it wanted when it wanted (called it CHRISTINE!!). I sorted it with a clean up. Swear theese cars have a built in weather sensor with a time delay. Clean up your MAF connectors and even the filter. Reckon this may be your prob. Without a MAF it aint going to run right if at all...no wonder theese are soooooo expensive.

AFM/MAF I reckon...sh1te weater, nice weather....surprised theese things run at all.

1. so you dont get your fingers cut off ( and to help direct the fan so heat is blown away from it) 2. complete bo11ox. If a plane has 100 blades on its propellor does it fly faster?...no. Too many blades will not work as when the blade rotates it causes a depression behind (like a vaccum) so if there aint no air there it cant blow it through... To improve the cooling a bigger rad (surface area) or /and more cool air flow is the answer. Junk your air con and get rid of the massive air con rad which sits in front of the cooling rad (move the oil cooler too) Thermostat and pressure cap too....

That does not sound good. First check levels/replace fluid....& have a sniff of the dipstick, if it does not have that ATF smell but a (how do you describe a smell?) burnt smell then u have a prob. Shame, I have a jap auto box in excellent condition, pulls like a train. Dont believe they are compatable but check with Mr F (trader and all round expert) amongst others for this to be confirmed. £350 delivered too!

Was in the other car today with me little un, had an audi awhatever all over the back of me, really began to piss me off, tried to overtake me as I moved to a right turn lane (keep left bollards on approach) fortunately the VOLVO estate must have put him off as they have a legendary reputation of winning against a cheiftan tank. That aside, I had a satisfaction of giving the driver a 'bird' (middle finger) which distressed him no end...hahahahhaha....sadly...mny 4 year old thinks it is the right thong to do now....if we ever pass...she does NOT mean it,,,,,really.........or does she..?
