  1. Daz, we swapped pics on here before and talked about digital dash setup for the z31 - get yourself a piece of this action - says its got the digital dash...wouldn't fit mine because mine is a facelift version but should fit yours http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/nissan-300zx-z31-84-89-Turbo-WHEEL-NUT-ONLY-/160549727963?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2561826edb
  2. I'd say its probably a bit over priced being an NA, the redeeming feature of it being pearl yellow means, in the current climate, it would probably sell for the same as another colour in the same spec to someone who understood how rare it is...but there are other people out there who just wouldn't want to be seen in a yellow car - rare or not, which narrows your potential market slightly. You have an idea how much its worth because you know what you paid for it. I remember a thread before you put it up for sale when people were saying 'its worth x amount all day long' and you were saying you didn't think you'd get anywhere near that...but I see that thread has been 'cleaned up' now for the sale. All merely my opinion and not meant to offend :flowers:
  3. There have been many discussions about this on footie forums and its hard to compare them as they are two totally different types of player but as far as goals are compared Boyd usually comes out on top... Henrik has a slightly better goals to games ratio BUT you have to remember that Kris Boyd was playing in a poor Kilmarnock side when he scored many of these goals which was more of a challenge than Henrik playing in (what was at the time) a strong Celtic team. Henrik's goal tally was built up over 5 and half years, Boyd's has been over 9 years but the goals to games ratio still comes out close. You also have to remember that Boyd is only 26, Henrik was a lot more experienced when he was scoring for Celtic, Boyd still has about 9 years of SPL life left if he wants it and by that point he would have obliterated the record...which wasn't a particularly hard feat as the SPL is still just a pup as it aint been around that long. :duffer: well done Kris
  4. Nice to see another teddy bear on here zerocooldel :ninja: WATP  Nice to see you've visited Ibrox as well DaZvert, I reckon you should take another trip up and bring your z31 with you, I live 5 mins from the stadium. :offtopic: but how are the headlights on your z31? You got any rust inside there yet?
  5. They came top of the list for my quote on gocompare earlier that's how I found out about them...I've just tried quoting directly through their site and they say the zed isn't eligible, then I filled it in via gocompare again there just now and it is allowing me to proceed with the purchase. They are quoting an estimate of £300 with the Co-op using the coverbox based on me saying 3000 miles per year, mostly off peak. They're breakdown of the cost shows: 7.31p per off peak mile 10.72p per peak mile £39.00 one off charge to fit coverbox installation £24.00 theft tracking
  6. This could work out well for anybody not using their zed often or during peak times, tracker keeps you and the insurer updated on your use and the cost https://www.coverbox.co.uk/how_coverbox_works.php
  7. just rotten touts online. Their faqs state: Since we are an intermediary and not a direct selling point, our prices often differ from the face value mentioned on the tickets. The extent to which the prices are higher depends on several factors. First of all, the degree of time and effort needed for us to be able to get the tickets affects the price. Prices are furthermore based on supply and demand. Very popular and therefore more difficult to get tickets will usually be more expensive than less popular tickets.
  8. Dara O'Briain is on there in Edinburgh for £25 as well
  9. Frankie Boyle tickets available for me here in Glasgow for..........£20 :thumbup1: In fact, I think I'll get a couple just now! Check out http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk
  10. Saw an episode of QI that said margarine has not been available in the UK for several years, for all the reasons you listed...what people still tend to refer to as margarine is actually low fat spreads http://www.qi.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=14645
  11. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1343494.htm
  12. no bother mate, I've had no problems with them and their customer service has been good but having said that I've never had to make a claim. They will probably try to stick recovery and agreed valuation on top of the premium so just check what exactly they are quoting for before accepting, I got them to take them off coz I've heard agreed valuation aint worth the paper its written on from any insurer and I used to work for a recovery company so I'm relying on being able to call in a favour from them if need be.
  13. It was me and your right its was in that hilarious tigerpoeton thread :nelson: who has now joined 'the other zed forum' under the same username. I'm with KGM collectors via the broker Lancaster Insurance and they only took £220 and it doesn't need to be garaged but you do need an every day car as well to qualify. If you run a fully comp quote with a low millage (say 3000) on moneysupermarket.com then they come out top of the list, well they do for me - I just ran a quote there the now coz it was quicker than going to find my documents to get the name of the broker.
  14. this says he was taken to hospital in a serious condition but released hours later...doesn't make sense to be in a serious condition one minute but fit enough to go home the next  http://tvnz.co.nz/golf-news/tiger-woods-injured-in-accident-3198928
  15. Away to dream of a new front end  Stick a post up at the weekend if you take her out for a spin to wipe the cob webs off and see if its enough to convince you use a once a month or so.
  16. Sharing sounds good to me, especially since you never drive yours...I'll just keep in mine and you can email in the summer when you take your out for a spin :p
  17. was that available for the UK market do you know? I had searched for it before but I've only ever come across ones for lefties on the net, if I ever saw one for sale I dont think I would be able to stop myself from buying it
  18. I will be changing these wheels at somepoint, hard to find something that would look right. Only found 1 (very poor) pic of my interior but as it happens it shows what I think (I may stand corrected) is the only difference with the interior between early/late z31s which is the steering wheel, looking a little tatty, as is my leather on drivers seat. Your headliner sagged yet? Previous owner for some reason decided that a stappler would do the job on mine!
  19. haha, thats a funky steering wheel the old ones have! I'll see if I have any photos of the interior stored away
  20. Looking good Daz, I know its the same pic as your signature but it looks better in that pic you posted, maybe thats just coz there aint a z32 sitting either side :)
  21. Some nice pics there Si, mine looks like its got a long arse compared to those ones, I'm liking the kinda flush look at the back of that blue one. I'm not a big fan of the back end of mine actually (you've just reminded me of the 3rd and 4th improvement that I would like! different back bumper and paint the front 1), as you can see the bumper sticks out and the bit you can't see from these picks is it has two square bits poking out even further either side of reg plate, think thats the only bit they changed for the facelift model that I'm not overly keen on...so I just always walk by the front end instead :D I think the front end looks heaps better than the older ones - sorry Daz :o
  22. Mines a manual 2+2 on an F plate, you should take it out more often to remind yourself how good it drives :D Agree it is comfy big cruiser with enough pull to make you smile when needed. I bought mine with the same idea as you but I find myself almost using it as an everyday car at times coz I can't resist taking it for a spin to hear it purr. I could do with some new plastic trim on the exterior and a set of wheels but apart from that I'm happy with it at the moment :x: I've probably just jinxed myself!!
  23. Really, so who have we got on here with z31s? I think the only one I know of is Dazvert so far. So you all selling up to fund repairs on your z32s or just fed up with them? All facelift ones as well.
