  1. How do the 300 TT's compare to say a 2.6TT Skyline...do we beat em?
  2. anyone knw the 1/4 mile time on a standard?
  3. Mine went to 126k and i think they were original as far as i knw....now they're smokey as sh@t!
  4. No worries mate....i have ordered some gear now....so hoping it will all arrive next week! :hyper: Dan.
  5. yeah the 500's are basically reconned....all new apart from the outer shell so ive been told.....i just thought not much init and the brand new ~Nissan ones were cheaper, so thought cant really get better than brand new parts really. Think u have to up the boost when using those uprated turbs and thats something i can do cos of insurance at the mo....i need to keep power fairly stock for a while ;)
  6. i would go uprated if i had the cash to do the other mods which are involved with bigger turbs...but unfortunately with everything else i need to do i dont :( if i changed them for anything it would be the jwt 500's i think as im only really after stock power and maybe later take it to about 380 but thats all im after....thing is i can get the Nissan new ones quite a bit cheaper than the 500's so for me seems to be the best way forward. If i could of fitted brand new 530's without having to do anything else to it to run them, then i would, but from what i hear thats not possible. Just need all the advice i can get really. Dan.
  7. lol i see what your saying mate....ok fair enough, just suppose with new ones may take a while to happen....not like i do big milage anyway, prob about 5k...so hopefully not too risky ;)
  8. Guys if i got Brand new Nissan OEM turbos, do you think i could decat at a later date and not have the risk of the seals going??
  9. sounds good mate. I just need to get me turb work arranged and i'll come back to you. Do you keep these things all in stock, how fast can you ship them out?
  10. no? hmmm well waiting for a response from them at the mo ;)
  11. Tnx guys....Smithy what can you do the RPS street clutch and RPS flywheel delivered to Essex then? PM me if you prefer ;) Take it the Flywheel is the heat shielded one, the red one you see on other sites? Dan.
  12. If i had a RPS flywheel done as well....would this affect the boost levels on the car at all or put any additional wear on the engine in anyway??
  13. cool tnx mate i'll take a look on his site then ;)
  14. Guys, Whats a good clutch to get....running standard power and wouldnt be looking to go over 400bhp in future? Was considering a RPS street one, what you think? Dan.
  15. I see so they basically re-con your turbos then....hmmm well they are based in the US which isnt ideal, perhaps i need to look for someone who can supply and fit new turbs as didnt really want to go down the recon route if poss. thanks mate.
  16. I have these all round....i think this is normal mate, believe it caused by the grooves...sounds the T*ts when braking at high speed i think ;)
  17. Guys, Looking to replace my turbs with JWT 500's as not after larger ones, just some kind of stock replacement. Been on Conzept Z Performance as only place i can find them (any traders here do them??) and it mentions something about buying a core....whats is this and do i need it?? Also someone thought they might be recons, anyone knw? Im trying to find out from the site. Cheers, Dan.
  18. I put on new nissan dampers and used SE's spring kit which dropped her about 20mm and that drives luvly, not too harsh but has improved handling no end! Think u can go to 20-25mm before you have to adjustable front camber arms. Dan.
  19. tnx guys....well on average i prob do about 5k a year so hopefully got some time left! Whats involved in an engine rebuild...is that big money??
  20. Guys, I have a UK 91 thats done 126k now, just found out my turbs need replacing so obviously looking a couple of grand there and i was just about to put it in to a bodyshop for a full respray and rust removal etc etc. Now the car is mint inside and i have replaced a fair amount already (see signiture spec). Now i feel im at the point of no return as between the bodywork and turbs this is gonna cost me around 5k, but if i was to sell the motor i prob get FA for it now. Personally i luv the car and if i do these remainding jobs it gonna be in top condition with the majority of parts new and uprated. What i need to know though is what are the engines good for, can they do 200k do you think?? Cheers, Dan.
  21. ahhh ive seen ur motor in there....nice that...different! Yeah i had been waiting for a number of callbacks, they must be in serious trouble....although the last message i heard on their answer phone was we're moving premises this week and not to worry as work will resume the following week. But that must have been 5-6wks ago now and when i ring the number is just continiously rings and then tells me the memory is full?! so i reckon they must have moved out.
  22. i thought they had already moved premises?? No-one has a number then?
  23. Guys, I need new turbos, whos good for a supply and fit job? In Essex. Cheers, Dan.
  24. Speak to Luke mate he will be able to tell you....he explained this to me...something about there being 2 layers in that rear wing.
