  2. Located in North Somerset, we are in easy reach from the M5 Junction 20 (Clevedon) and Junction 21 (Weston-Super-Mare) Address: Avon Custom Jasmine Lane Claverham Bristol BS49 4PY +44(0)1934 830188 http://www.avoncustom.co.uk The did the paintwork on 4 of the cars featured for the haynes modifieng guides and a sweet 240z http://www.avoncustom.co.uk/gallery/classic/240z/index.html
  3. Zedworld in Tamworth or anybody breaking a 300
  4. No idea did have 0psi on one of the cyclinders, but engine was dumped and a replacement put in rather than a rebuild, the turbo's looked fine though.
  5. mine smoke on acceleration lift off, then ate one of its pistons
  6. Avoncustom are good and i think you can get a bit of discount if your a member of the TATSU car club they run.
  7. I would pay the £40 and stick it in for an MOT then you can see what wrong, if your cousin refuses walk away.
  8. You flashed you lights at me and i flashed mine back :)
  9. The HICAS has very little turn, the wheel should deffo be pointing forward when stationary. I would say this is something deffo to get checked out. The PTU's on these car fail its not uncommon, you can get a later version for them which are a bit more reliable. If you do buy, dont skimp on tyres its the only things keeping the 300bhp on the road.
  10. Cant see where SI got 2K from. Its a SWB Manual, its dont sound too bad, their are a few little jobs there to do but it is a old heavy car. You deffo need to get it checked out by somebody that knows the cars, needs to be checked for smoking both on idle, on accelerating and on de-accelerating. Free play in suspension isnt too much of a problem, you just need to found out where it is from and replace the offending part. You said the HICAS dont work right, what kind of problems are there with it?
  11. The diesel pumps are bigger than the petrol ones here. Well cant say for all garages but deffo in the shell by me.
  12. Thought he was working and could not make it
  13. its the whole ECU, ill chuck some bits in i find in the garage.
  14. We use the Naughty Step in the first instance, If children continue after that then they would get a smack, unless it obvious that that are kicking off because they are tired, then i just put them to bed instead and let them scream themselves to sleep lol.
  15. you would hate mine it has a dump valve lol
  16. £5 off for cash, im a tight arse
  17. ill pick you up if you want?
  18. The ride on the activa's arnt quite as waterbed smooth as the other models
  19. It does they have several verions of the Hydralic suspension on the activa. The std 5 Sphere system, the 6 sphere with Anti-Sink, The 8 Sphere with sport mode anti damper and anti sink and the 10 sphere activa with the anti-lean, sportmode/anti damp/Anti Dive and and anti sink. Lots of anti's lol. Basically my car can no keep with civic type r's on the straight and out corner them. :)
  20. Std they are 150bhp but its now about 180bhp, dont really want more than that on FWD. Best thing about them is the way they corner with the Activa anti-lean suspension.
  21. Yep mine is the active 2.0 8v turbo now running 1 bar boost :)
  22. Not wanting to upset all the 99 spec fans but if you want a cheap version of your spoiler Citroen has the answer LOL
