mine has the new wire to the fuel pump (earth) checked it and it seems fine

Right took the cas off and did the spin it test. lots of clicking from the top of the engine but still no sound from the fuel tank area.

Didnt you go to get one? That would have made at least 1 then LOL

heading from the Downend Roundabout, upto the Willy Wicket Roundabout at approx 8am this morning.

First of all the car would fire up but then when it went back to poss 2 it died again, so i changed round the wiring and got it started and drove it round the block then back up to my drive. I have also had her started and sat running on my drive for 20 mins whilst I fitted the window. On the weekend I started her again, moved her so my wife could get he car off the drive, turned her off whilst I chatted to my mate for an hour, then when he left sh would not start and hasnt since. From when she was running, to when she wasnt runninng nothing had been touched. The last thing that was touched was the CTS as i cleaned up the connection, but this was 2 starts prior to her not starting.

Yep i marked it with a sharp point but once it back together ill get the timing check anyway :) if it works again :(

??? are you saying it wont be running again because of the tinkering or have i misread?

I think the timing was out anyway, but it was hard to tell as car was idling high due to possible temp sensor problem.

I would get one of the other colours so it looks like its been painted. lol

Cheers dave, im gonna take the cas off tonight i found an online guide to see where i was going wrong. Ill see if that clicks the injectors and then goes from there :)

Checked both PTU and CAS. Havent cleaned up the connectors but made sure they were on. Just seems weird how it was working one minute and not the next.

Not the starter I can hear it, it think its something to do with the fuel pump, I have always been able to hear it untill now.

The actual 300zx was never a works JGTC car, the JGTC didnt start till 94 and used the skylines. Pre to that Group A cars were in the Japanese Touring Car Championship which Nissan again used the Skyline

i think its bacause they are calssed as an 80's lardy sports car for the americans by the un-educated
