i like my big cars so prefer the S80 :)

Was looking at a sensible replacement for my zed and have been looking at a few T6 Volvo S80's. Did a search on here to see if the was any info and found a pic of Vinnyboys old car that matched one is saw on ebay. I voted yes to split as i think its current set up is unfair on the REO's. It seems in the SW you either live in the North of the Area or the south, with nobody in the middle. It means its really hard to get everybody happy unless you alternate between a Southern and Northern meets each time. I do not however believe Japfest should be counted as one of the Local Meets as its a Paying National Meet.

havent changed it though, not that i really care but really does make people think there is one rule for one and a different one for others.

cant see a car emptying itself of oil in a month being normal, they hold over 5 litres of the stuff

Tried the fuses first off. Im placing my hopes on the fuel pump at the moment, gonna replace it anyway. looking at the state of the bolts on my fuel tank (the 8 little ones) id say mine is on its origional fuel pump. One of the bolts sheerd, but as i could not hear a release of pressure untill i removed 2 more i'm hoping it will be fine without it. I have 2 of the bolts that seem a pain to get to as the fuel tank seems a tad further back than its supposed to be.

dont think its the fuse tried that. Once i remove it (easier said than done due to condition of bolts) i will run some power to it to see if it power up.

OK took og the pipe in front of the fuel filter put it in a bottle and cranked the engine. No Fuel came out. So whats the next step of testing?

I think this is why we need a system where we can vote good and bad on a trader or garage. Every Single Garage have there problems, but they good ones have a lot of happy customers that far outweigh the bad. I think we should have a list of Zed Garages that people have used and we can all vote once on our experience. If we wated to change our vote at a later date we could by sending something to the mods to back this up and they could change it. I know Garages are no longer Traders but as a club we want to be able to provide information to owners on good and bad places to take their cars to.

Will try that allthough as auto electrics isny my strong point (along with with Auto Mechanics, DIY & Housework LOL), i noticed alot of wires into the fuel pump and have no idea which is live. I know the earth as it added by prev owner and goes into the boot area.
