dont u need a compressor to use a boost leak detector

thougt it was low as also still get a reading on my stock guage where it just hits the +7 reading on a j-spec. dont know how to test boost leaks though

but i like where your going with the recirc vavle theory, could be. well when i get my credit card both the stock filters and recirc vavle WILL be replaced with HKS goodies Arnt HKS filters sponge? and if they are the osition of them in the Zed will mean the never properly dry out as the get wet easily. this could then muck up your AFM. maybe wrong but im sure if heard this from somebody more knowledable than me.

When i was having saftey boost issus, the timing changed on the conzult as it went to 35bdtc on idle. i do think i have a boost leak as there is a whistling sound under acceleration which seems too loud to be normal. have to wait till the box goes in and go from there.

Ive noticed that after driving my car for a while the feel of it changes. the only way to eplain would be to say it feels like somebody has put a tight spring on the accelerator. it just feels bogged down. it not going into safty boost and the timing is still spot on as im driving with the conzult plugged in. its recently had a service and all plugs were changed. the fuel filter was also changed. its a TT auto with no 2nd gear at moment, but its 1st that shows up the issue. is this normal or its it summat wrong.

if its got an after market one u will see 2 small coolers by looking thru the bumper gap under the reg plate. they will be infront of an fan.
