  15. Yeh im glad the box worked as it wasnt known if it did before it was fitted. Box seems ok, the change from 1st to 2nd is a bit brutal like uve been rammed up the arse but no delay and thats a 100 times better than she's been since i had her. Big thanks for Dave C for sorting me out with the box and converter and to Baggins for he Tech Advice. Finally, very big thanks to Shunter for taking 2 days holiday and spending them hard at work fixing my car.
  16. well i did help with the fiddly bits on the gearbox and neil helped with the bits that needs a bit of brute force on the cooler etc
  17. neil to most of the gearbox work, i did the induction and oil cooler
  18. might have to get them to spray my new bumper and nose panel.
  19. so far so good it works, bit of a thud going into gear but zero delay, hopefully just needs bedding in. few minor probs like ecu doesnt seem to pick up what gear the cars in so had to bypass the inhibitor as a temp measure. but gearbox in, upgraged oil cooler fitted and blitz induction fitted. its so nice to have 2nd gear back.
  20. well no light came on but got to shell garage and managed to get 60 litres in the tank. the guage was just below the empty mark though
  21. cool, no light so i might get to the shell garage lol
