Well I run a non-turbo manual Zed and it's been brill - use its as a daily driver and get 24 mpg. It's kept on the drive in all weathers and always starts first time. In 2 years I've had to replace the starter motor and the radiator, both sourced from this site at sensible prices. Performance, although not quite in the TT class, is excellent. HTH Phil

Would still suspect the battery - had a similar problem myself once. Voltage Ok but no current capacity. Replaced the battery and all was OK.

It's underneath the car. :eek: Have you actually tried a jump start??? If not, give it a go............

I'm sure you're not - I'm not so happy now I've just found out I have to do some work - was hoping to strip down my spare seats ready for re-trimming

Well, after doing a search on the forum I fitted a 20k resistor in place of R10 (originally 33k) on the Speedo PCB - haven't yet fitted them to my car. The needles should still light up as they're fed by a seperate bulb. I may have some pix at home I can post up later. PS I can send you a 20K resistor if you want - just PM me your snail mail address.
