  1. Waiting for her to come around and will ask her if she's interested (in the MX-5 that is) Yampie - the MG TF is also on her list (also her preferred choice) but I gather reliability is a bit of an isuue with these cars?? Mr D J Tomo - I've already pointed out the soft top/roll situation - LOL Thanks for all your help chaps.
  2. As with most girls colour seems to be high on the list of requirements, I don't think she's too bothered about a leather interior or engine mods. Will check the hood and cambelt history plus recent servicing, panel fit etc etc. Note for TiZer: she will be keeping this one on the road - LOL
  3. Cheers Richard - and as for you Si - you'll have to wait. But she is an air hostess for Britannia ;)
  4. Off to have a look at some this afternoon - don't worry it'll be for my daughter. :) Are there any particular things to look out for on this car???? Will be taking her out in the Zed though - and looking at the weather probably with the targas off as well   Anyone else going topless today
  5. Cheeky Cooont - and you thought you might get to use the weapon systems or even land on a carrier - dream on
  6. Have several swifties Steve - and being the supehero I am I'll have a swiftie or two for ya as well
  7. Most days - it's there to be used and enjoyed :hyper: PS: MAC the weather is good down here at Dishforth ;) :)

  14. Agree with Peach - a car is there to be used. Just be careful in the wet, ice or snow. Used mine as daily driver throughout last winter with no problems.
  15. Seen this in one of those Jap car mags (which I have at work). Was all done on a budget of around 5K Here's a pic of it at TOTB this year If you want more details let me know and I'll PM or post them up after i get to work at 11pm.

  17. 111 eh??? I was there on the Tornado F3 sim. Lived in Cupar and had a brill time up there. The jocks were the friendliest and most generous people esp. some of the female population :x:
  18. Run my SWB, manual as a daily driver and get no more problems than I would expect from a 14 year old car. She does a respectable 23-25mpg, looks good, sounds great and is kept going for sensible money thanks to advice and spares from this Forum and it's fantastic members. PS Mr Brakedust - how is sunny Leuchars these days?? I spent a very happy 6 years there from 1988 to 1993

Easy job mate - and the repair of the catch is fairly straightforward as well. Did mine about 6 months ago and it's been fine ever since.
  20. That'll have been taken at TOTB at Elvington then :)
