  3. Feel for ya bud.Happened to me when I was selling a few years ago, the buyer pulled out with 2 days to go. Agree with Baggins on introducing the Scottish system. It worked a treat for me when I lived up there in the 80's.

  8. In no particular order My health My family (incl. the dog) This nice big glass of whisky by my keyboard :D My CD and DVD collection
  9. IMHO any car that is 13yrs+ is going to present a degree of unreliability. Mine is pretty standard (mechanically) and so far in 13 months I've had to replace the starter motor (precautionary), the radiator and the battery. This is in addition to standard consumables like tyres, wipers, bulbs etc. Look after it, keep checking it and carry out preventative maintenance and you will minimise any potential trouble. Above all ENJOY having a Zed :D
  10. Have a good un mate - I'm having a whisky for ya now :D
  11. Sorry to hear about this - hope you, the girlfriend and the car get sorted soon. One small piece of advice - if you do claim whiplash injury, keep a diary of all the times+places you are in pain/uncomfortable/unable to do a certain task etc.

Still waiting to see what else may occur - but that drive sounds good. The B6265 from Ripon to Skipton is also a good route for scenery.
