Is there a knack to removing the pointers from the fuel, temp, tacho and speedo gauges??? Or is it a case of gentle persuasion???? Cheers Phil

Well I drive my manual, NA, SWB on a mix of town driving and "enthusiastic" country lane driving and get an average of 23mpg. I use Esso's 97 RON fuel most of the time and the car is regularly serviced.HTH.

Go for it mate - I did 15 years in the RAF as an electronics engineer on flight simulators. Great training, great opportunities, great mates and an all round great life. Set me up a treat for civvy street.
