I was there saturday and sunday wiv the zed,got pi##ed on sat, head ache on sunday.I was Very impressed with the turn out and Quality of most of the cars.......... Did anyone win the datsun for a tenner!? :D :D

The speedo is more accurate than you might think, my road angel gives the exact speed continuously by satnav and ive got 18 inch rims. aint taken it to 180 but 120 is still perfect

Hi Guys, just this min finished removing the plenum so that i can change this bloody defective Injector(no5)before Billing. After some rather tense moments when the plastic connector broke away, i finally got it out. The end was covered in s#t n muck, alot of which id wiped off before thinkin about putin up some pics After removing the injector i thought id check the plugs out, as you can see in the pics the plug on the left looks old. When i went to undo it,it was already loose! I had the plugs changed the last time it was at SE Nissan(3 months ago) and i think they mighta forgot to take that one out!!? :eek: Does anyone know why the plugs electrode would have melted :confused: (This plug wasnt in the same cylinder as the defective injector)

It looks like im gonna be Zed less at billing too! Pocksy injector packed up. Unless i run it there (carefully) on 5 cylinders! :( So i think its gonna have to be the Purple Rover 100...................There n back on a tenner!? :)

Is it worth havin bigger with my set up or should i stick with standared

Can anybody guide me in the purchase of some luverly 555 injectors? i think the standared ones have had it so i want to upgrade if poss. Am i wasting my money buying bigger ones? ive got hybrid tubs 15 psi boost and SE ecu.+ Wots a good price :confused:

Ive been havin a look at the problem this afternoon, seems like no5 cylinder aint firing I think one of the injectors is naff :cry:

Just had a week in Sunny(ha ha!) Cornwall, last day at work, 5am, accelerating away from a roundabout, POP! sommit goes on the Zed, quick puffa white smoke and now ive got a bad missfire! :eek: :( Cant belive it! Just before Billing :mad:

I had a run in with a Fox a few months ago. I was driving towards Rayleigh High st and i see something out the corner of my eye coming at me fast, i waited for the impact. BANG! it hit the drivers door with some bloody force! i looked in the mirror so see it fall dazed infront of a van. splatt! I got out and checked the Zed and luckily all there was, was a load of snot where it hit the door! :)

I think if it was a mobile camera they actually read your number plate, so they got "you bang ta rights" :(

Hi Garry, I think the law stands that although its an import, its like everything else on the car that aint to our spec, it has to be changed to pass the MOT (reflectors, lights ect).Id pay up otherwise it could cost you alot more :(

Cheers Mark, i agree there should be more kits, they need to design some with more modern driving lamps and indicators. I think the rectangular ones look too dated. Its a shame coz the zed is a very mod shape for its age

Dont use anything else than Optimax! Unleaded is rated at only 95 octane. Optimax is 98 Esso super is 97. Dont use 95 or else BANG!! :(
