Why is this car important?
did the boss of nissan own or race it to victory in 1958? which in turn brought in the cash to save the company and carry on and develop zed's......or sommit....

Life???
back to life...(this thread and a good tune by Soul II Soul) a book i was reading about the movie bizz recounted a star-struck camerman asking his then hero Errol Flynn...(who it has to be said had the looks, money, women and fame beyond most of todays film stars)..if there was anything he wasnt good at? he replied soberingly....yes...life

Distribution of wealth?
Cos i'm gonna take issue with this bit...the rest is well made...:) in the last decade california managed to fund and build 13 new prisons but didn't add a single college place in the same period...! ok...i'm out now...got a cab to drive....:D

Distribution of wealth?
its worth pointing out just like in 300zx engines/power stations/physics (and money/economies) there is waste...and sometimes undeserving atoms/people get this waste for free at our cost...peversley the drive to reduce waste (or layabouts) can often cost more money than it saves...it will never be 100%...there are some parodoxies which would best describe this but i'll be dammed if i can type them...my fav is the £1bn we spent on the recent gun law by going for the lawful gun owners whose guns only accounted for 1% of all gun crime...i would have preferred it being spent on chasing the crims with unlawful guns who account for 99% of gun crime...heres an idea maybe employing more police?

Distribution of wealth?
the whole thing is a little bit of history repeating...there have been many moral panics about the poorest in society and how much they cost/sponge from the better off...the reality is £13bn of state help currently goes unclaimed by those entitled to it every year by a combination of bad training, impossible forms and being fobbed off...compares very well to the fraud which is estimated at £1.5bn...most of which is committed by rings/gangs working inside the IR/DWP/Local Govt etc...the taxpayer is £11.5bn up.....happy days..:D
-
Distribution of wealth?
its to my mind a kind of enforced/state charity...lots of folks are only too happy to give to those less well off or in need all over the world (including animals)...the best thing to be said is at least its for those here at home

- Bolney Village Meet 23 April 2005
yep...by hook or crook i'll be up- Paintball ?? Help!!
ran a site for a while with a mate...played loads in the late 80's early 90's...did a big game once of approx 400 a side...like a war..so much paint flying...good memories...saw a guy knocked out with a ball in the ear...shots to the throat are nasty too seen a few folks go down as if they was pole-axed...i used to owe a full padded suit and head gear covering throat ears, several guns etc...took a shot in the mouth once thought it'd knocked my tooth out...thankfully only split my lips the paint was red so along with my claret it looked worse...have fun...!!- The best looking Z colour
voted...the only sane choice- Bolney 23rd April
count me in...seeing as its only up the road...:D anyone coming south down the A23 should come off at the A272 junction...then right at the first roundabout..you'll pass under the A23 then do a right...then straight over the next roundabout and you're in the village...take note the back roads behind the village (shown on that map in White) can be very tight, folks walking dogs, tractors, nutters in Scoobies doing 70 round blind bends!- still stuck and cant find the reason
if you got a multimeter check to see if your actually getting power up to the mirror (if you cant find a blown fuse)...personally i would unplug the loom connector in the door first and meter the pins for voltage...it there is juice there it maybe the printed circuit board in the mirror unit dragging down a volt line hence wipers not working..i got spare bits n bobs for mirrors including the pcb...get in touch if you need somthing- tuning 300tt stateside
http://www.importtuner.com/tech/0403it_300zx/ thought it might be of interest- Whats the best stuff for cleaning alloys??
a combinatioin of simonez alloy spray...found in most poundsaver type shops...and cif lemon cream cleaner with a cheapo scouring pad for the tough bits...not advisable on shiney finishes...great on standard alloys which have a matt finish and lots of little pits on the surface- white 300zx,a12 nr colchester
i think i must have passed you a few weeks back on the way to colchester it was a funny day lots of snow sun and sleet...we was in the red jap tt...:)- Slumming it!
you should really shop around when hiring your accountants...:) - Bolney Village Meet 23 April 2005
