road rage
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/southern_counties/4206098.stm this happened at the top of my street...i saw the tail end of it...good on Chris Eubank IMHO...the brewery and van drivers rarely use the loading bays...the driver must have been fearless or a fool to have crossed with the ex-middleweight champ of the world...i know i wouldn't road rage it with pro boxer

Remember Beslan
the beslan incident is one of those events so terrible it (i'm afraid) gets pushed out of our minds because we dont know how to cope with it...uncomprehensible that there isnt more outrage or action being taken....esp when comparing this to things like Diana dying in a car crash or that guy getting shot on the tube

Traumatic day :(
glad to hear everyone is walking wounded, could have been a lot worse given the circumstances...i know that heart in mouth feeling cos i had a similar call from my wife some months ago...a fella went through a no entry down a one way into her MPV...got out and had some choice words for her saying it was her fault for not looking...!!! honest to god....i was one street away so ran round...when he tried the same line with me i shot him a look and he shut the hell up....main thing was wife & kids were ok

Enough is enough
maybe its a measure of how successful the forum is...i mean if you look back into the archive (and lets say) in any given month you found that of 100 threads 20% were NZR but only had 200 members back then.....it would stand to reason when you got 800 members and 400 threads a month you would see a lot more NZR....so in real terms no difference in the amount of junk just more visable.....totally unscientific guess work on my part....shoot me down if anyone has got figures or the time to work it out :D

Disabling the electronic gubbins that controls the seatbelt recoil.
cant miss it once you pop the door card off...its the only 2 wires coming out of the unit....as to why it goes i reckon a build up of fluff n stuff is to blame....in the event of a smash the whole thing snaps shut in a micro second (thats the theory)...though it is a little disconcerting to be zooming along with a pile of slack seatbelt in your lap
-
Disabling the electronic gubbins that controls the seatbelt recoil.
yeah...(posted this some months back) IIRC there is a built-in (design) feature which allowed a certain amount of slack so the belt didnt get uncomfortable by snagging on your clothes etc... its electronically controlled...pop off the door card and there is a small connector which runs from the seat-belt unit...it controls the slackness if you unclip it the belt then operates as a normal retracting belt

Bl**dy Pterodactyl!!
best starter raptor is the Harris Hawk...however you do need access to open spaces and live prey (rabbits etc)....not much compares to hunting with such awsome creatures..you can do hunting days with a borrowed hawk...an unique gift or present
