  1. seeing as i dont have an aerial at the moment or a rear wiper i was wondering about using the redundant rear window washer for an aerial mount instead.....not sure what look would be suitable or what options there are...anyone got pics or products that would look nice on my zed cheers
  2. on the way home tonight i saw a residential house in brighton all lit up with santa and snowmen in the front garden....going too fast to see if their was a tree or not :wack: can anyone beat that...?
  3. update its being held on Saturday the 4th Nov.....d'oh :slap:
  4. you might as well do a full water bypass while you're at it or that might be your plan anyway couldnt tell from the post
  5. http://www.lewesbonfirecouncil.org.uk/ its the big one this saturday night just down the road from home....up to 100,000 people will turn up if if the weather is nice and dry to watch the procession let off 1000's of rook scarers ignite untold amounts of fireworks light half a dozen big bonfires and burn Guy F and the Pope .....dont bring dogs, kids in buggies or people who are espcially catholic is my best advice enjoy

loads of debate on oil on here.......the preverbial can of worms i can hear being opened again :D IMHO a good quality semi synth 5-40w will suffice for most engines....some say fully synth is too thin...others say not...depends on your mods and driving style as to how technical you want your oil to be and to perform as to the other oils....never asked the garage they just change it http://www.300zx.org.uk/tech_02.htm see the above link it will give you the Nissan recommended list and how to's etc cheers
  7. ahhh..........poor things :wack: still its very funny all the same for those who havent seen them
  8. yep you'll need to subscribe to be able to do that...its £20 for the year and you get a pack of goodies as well as discounts with traders etc cheers
  9. very amusing dancing hows about the fainting goats...now that is funny
  10. IIRC diesel is the best for soaking / freeing up stuck bolts
  11. the coolant just trickles out when running the engine with the rad cap off so make sure the hose is trickling in at roughly the same rate...the overspill will run down the side of the rad neck and onto the floor....you shouldnt get a geyser erupting over the engine bay unless you floor the throttle or have some sort of air lock which burps up :hurl: HTH :)
  12. 90. Uno (payment sent direct transfer)
  13. when booting is the smell you notice......petrol? oil? coolant? sh!t? :D if its the latter you need a slower car
  14. drill it out....need a fast drill, hardened bit and steady hand if you knacker the thread just get a helicoil for the same size hole
  15. a nice gentle way of doing coolant change and this will aviod blasting the system with a hose and possibly jamming gunk and particles into the fine water channels and blocking them up at the same time is to run the engine with rad cap off and a hose trickling into the neck after 1 hour of so the entire system should be purged with clean water...then drain rad and top up with 4-5 litres of coolant...job done
  16. aftermarket rads like Koyo have a white screw plug drivers side you can reach it from underneath...IIRC stock rads dont have a plug you have to remove the lower hose to drain
  17. not seen the industrial ones could you mean a graveyard...that is where the top man James likes to hang out afterall ;)
  18. you can stop boiling and vote tory now :D
  19. no just stop folk jetting of to mexico on holiday :mac1: :nono: ;)
  20. yeah good point trouble was my half naked lady slid off the bonnet in the high winds.... ;)
  21. its non-sense and pointless....1 erupting volcano can chuck out more CO2 in 1 day than the whole industrialised world can in a year....that is not to mention all the holes mines and fissures in the ground which also vent CO2 in huge amounts...anything we do to cut emissions is just going to be a fraction of a fraction and will cost trillions....i'd rather we put the money into healthcare or new technology to grow foodstuff in different conditions...trouble is you wont hear many ecologists or scientists bringing up this point as it means they wont get funded for their research into global warming for the next 20-30 years
  22.
