  1. The letters 'KLF' stood for many things, which changed many times throughout their life-span. The first documented occurrence is in 1987, when the moniker 'Kopyright Liberation Front' was mentioned on their record releases. But over the years up to the 1992 retirement, they always got asked this question in interviews and were always making up new names. One much-quoted line is "We're on a quest to find out what it means. When we find out, we can stop what we're doing now." Various examples of these names are: 'Kings of the Low(er) Frequency', 'Kool Low Frequency', 'Keep Looking Forward', 'Kevin Likes Fruit' and so on, but the usually accepted definition is 'The Kopyright Liberation Front'. The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu came from the Illuminatus books. regards chris
  2. well you post the answer and i'll go an ask jimmy for his version...lol
  3. lol...if they change the flag design every three months like some footie clubs change their kit i'm sure the queen could afford to buy another horse/corgie/castle...or a 300zx genrally agree..footie is a bit much week in week out but i do follow the big events like euro 2004, wimbledon, augusta golf, british grand prix, this years summer games in athens etc....but can't seem to get into the other events
  4. cant say where the names for KFL/JAM's came from but i did hear that the KLF stood for nothing at all...just some trippy oddness that got the music hacks all steamed up....i can say that the girl in N-joi's record anthem went on to be Saffron in Republica....i will add a top tune...Richie Rich...Salsa House...captures all that is best in DJ based records during the 80's-90's
  5. oh the KLF were called the JAM's on a few white labels did a "whip me whitney houston mega-mix i recall....hahaha
  6. jimmy caulty (KLF) lives in brighton now and sells art with a friend of mine...i sold a couple of his prints in december that i got for nothing....and in a curious twist i worked in music publishing with the engineer on the KFL tunes a guy call Paul Bloom...those KLF guys were and are extremely weird...imagine burning a million £....!!
  7. yeah its true he is blind...she even called him rather cruelly....a boss eyed gizmo still i suppose that is better than a....one-eyed trouser snake trap...which is her haha
  8. hehe...after seeing the plastic one at extreme close range i would go as far as to say she aint really that sexy...ok compared to anne widdecombe she is...but its a rough doggy kind of look almost agressive...however there are sexier looking women in Brighton...take my wife...well in fact i rather you didnt as i like her all to myself...:) Jordan is lucky to have the notoriety to get her men cause in a Brighton club she wouldnt stand out....but i digress as this thread was for lady zx drivers and i did spy one in a grey j reg in town the other day looked about 40'ish if i see her i will tell her to log on to the best site ever regards
  9. haha....she used to drop her kid (harvey?) to a neighbours house for child minding...doesnt happen anymore as the babysitter sold her story to the tabloids...worlds worst mum.....!!
  10. i knew she would pop up......jordan that is....btw she drives a black range rover is reckon she needs the chest room...used to be parked outside my window a lot....its a long story regards
  11. cheers for the inputs...i have a blitz dual timer giving me the readings which is showing 54 cmHg (10psi) flat out...i was interested in what richard said re stock boost only being 9psi....but the stock gauge on dash goes from -7 to +7 (x100mmHg) which is close to 14psi....i must admit i never paid too much attention to the blitz readings befor as i had it set to timer not boost display...so if its true (the stock 9psi) then my standard fairlady is operating to the max and all is well....anyone beg to differ? cheers
  12. boost is usually up to 14psi...not done the ecu check yet that is due next week when i got the time.......no mig tips i'm aware of
  13. spectra....http://www.spectrecars.com/spectre.html

  18. thanks for the input etc. cheers chris
  19. thanks for all the thoughts...i havent set a budget as such (srrae) but was considering the idea that where you have the engine out for 1 failure/repair/replacement what would be worth doing at the same time...in an effort to save time/money later on....i note andy's comment the jobs i listed can be done in situ...so what if any reasons are there for engine out jobs with the 300? regards
  20. i'm considering having the engine out to renew a few bits.... cam belt water pump cooling hoses can anyone add anything else you would consider doing as a matter of course seeing when the engine is out...like turbo seals etc.....? regards chris
  21. good point it has been a bit warm down here in sunny brighton...:) i will do a search for how to use self diagnostics (flashing led's or sommit like that i read before) regards
  22. no i haven't done that but how is the diagnostic peformed anyway Paul? regards chris
  23. i had to sort a coolent leak yesterday and as a result topped up the rad and bled the system etc...all ok...except it now feels less zoomy...so when looking at the turbo timer reading of cmHg 50 (flat out) which i believe comes to about 9psi does this mean i'm now in safety?...
  24. Bennets who are in the south can quote imports...you'll find most imports are done through brokers as the main/direct ins co's farm out the work 'cos they are after the astra/mondeo market regards
  25. some debts may fall outside of bankruptcy and as such can be exempt...its not an exact science...but £510 might as well be £5million if you're on benefits and have debts... regards
