  1. hi i need to now where i can fit a oil temp sensor to my z ,i have noticed that on the oil filter housing there is a blanked hole could i use that to place sensor .i would post a photo showing position of blanker but cannot
  2. yep just throw it away as ive just finished my conversion ..and the bypass of inhibitor was easy to i would post how i done it but cant post pictures ive done it different to how other z conversions ...it took me 2 minutes to sort
  3. as far as im concered all zeds are made at the same factory ,so yes the same .
  4. YES ive just bought some for mine any things better than the standard set(jdm n/a)
  5. yes you can but like daffy says you will need to grind the inner part of the bellhousing unless you use a n/a flywheel which aint practical for a turbo unless you use a high performance clutch kit.and i believe that you can get a spacer plate to move the starter to the correct position
  6. hi but if you gonna keep it cost doesnt come in to it .ive spent £2000 and ive stil got bits and pieces to do including a paint job .i now every nut and bolt if you gonna keep it and you want it to look nice then as far as in concerned cost doesnt come in to it .just remmeber its gonna be a future classic which means the price will go up but thats your decision
  7. hi ive had a alloy front pulley for ages and think its time to fit it,does any one now what belts i need i/e part numbers. I dont run aircon ive takern that of. just the alternater and power steering .can u help
  8. if your talking about the auto spigot i made a puller took me about a minute to pull it out
  9. I NORMAL use grease and a bar of similar size as end of box and put as much grease as u can inside the hole and put the tube in a hit with hammer props a couple of times and it should pop out

  11. hi there very nice z ....ive also got a n/a which im currently converting to manual.and sorting other little jobs before i use it again
  12. gear box ratios are the same ,all thats different is turbo uses a bigger fly wheel so wheres the problem .:offtopic:
  13. hi right i have currently coverting my z32 n/a from auto to manual all i need to now is (im using a tt g/box-n/a flywheel/clutch) i need to now what speed sensor to use can i use the one from my auto box ?, i do have a few speed sensor that i bought in a job lot of z bits i have noticed that the drives are colourered , blue or green does that denote anything .
  14. well i made up a bush extractor to remove the auto spigot..also replaced rear main oil seal.and fitted new manual spigot...so getting there :mellow:

  16. well so far so good starter is identicle ie,same part number ..pedals in,master cylinder in needed to get a shifter bracket though got it from z centre ...many thanks o and spigot bearing i will keep you updated .....
  17. hi i currently own a 90 spec jap import n/a 300 and im going to convert it to manual can any one tell me any proplems i might incur i have located a gearbox but i need to locate /source the rest ie flywheel flywheel bolts starter prop pedal box including pedals master cylinder slave cylinder pipe ecu wiring have i missed any thing ...have u got bits laying about u want to sell :yes:
  18. hi my names simon. recently bought a 300zx non turbo.h reg.64.000 miles jap import. they are definatly built well.although it will be a while before i get her on the road. plenty of bits for me to do.:mad:
