  1. HI i have just finished my auto to manual conversion ....but am having proplem with idle ,on cold it starts up fine when used then stopped but when i restart the idle is up and down .now im running my auto ecu i did hear that the timing needs adjusting how do i do this ?..as i what to make the most of driving my zed before i take it of the road again after summer to finish her off :taz:

  3. hi ive just finished doing my auto to manual conversion and have had it up and running although when up to normal operating temp its idling slightly high 1400 rpm how can i adjust

  5. yes i agree i checked with my local mot station before i removed my cats,and it wont be tested my z is a 1991

  9. i now what you mean but i used a ford temp sensor as it was the right thread size so no issues .

  11. WELL I MANAGED TO FIT MY OIL TEMP SENSOR oops for shouting ,theres a little grub screw to the right of where the oil filter bolts i managed to place my oil temp sensor there fits perfectly

  14. it took me about half an hour to take mine dash out so i could do the clutch pedal etc for my manual conversion so really not that bad
  15. im a mechanic based in ipswich. ive got a z which ive done all my own work .including cambelt change etc
  16. well ive just fitted a tt manual box to my n/a the only difference between tt and n/a box is one the bellhousing on a tt it slightley larger and the speedsensor is different between a n/a and tt so hope this helps
  17. yes im trying to sort mine .i actual have a spare oil filter casing and have removed the little bolt.to me thatsthe ideal place to have the temp sender ,but others may differ.the thread size im not sure but will check.looks like you could use a ford temp sensor poss

  20. hi i own a jdm z and was wondering if both mirrors should fold in as at the moment only mt passeger one works has any one stripped /repaired one

  23. hi yeah i thought about taking mine off but there are two sets on mine the front sensors on the manifolds and a set on after the cats ,now could i remove then ones and keep my main ones on the manifolds

  25. hi you only need one plug thats behind the head light ive just sorted mine ill post the pics how i done it
