  1. Kia Sedona wheels fit! So I've discovered :D
  2. I started my collection last year with this one; 4 stars representing my Wife and my 3 daughters - After that I created a 'tribal dragon' to cover a bad tribal tattoo I had done years ago - Next was flames on my wrist; always wanted these but just let my artist design them, really happy with them too - And currently under construction is a traditional Koi fish (my Christmas present from my tattooist, who is now a neighbour and good friend). This is partially shaded now and looks amazing but I won't post any more pics till it's 100% done - And finally, my current favourite, we are working on my artists first full black and grey portrait, which is my tribute to a music hero of mine; Paul Gray, the bass player from Slipknot, who passed away last year. Again, this is not finished yet - And this is my mate Jeremy (originally from North Carolina) 'in the zone'! - I love getting tattooed LOL! :D
  3. Thieving little scrotes! I do some work on building sites in that area so I'll keep my eyes and ears open - doubt they'll be sold on t'internet (unless the **** is REALLY stupid!).
  4. Have both! Big wheels for summer/show season, standard 16's for off seaso /track time. That's my plan :)
  5. Very nice
  6. Welcome mate! Nice to see our global neighbours joining in the fun :D Show us yer Z!!
  7. What a beaut! Sitting pretty there mate, very nice indeed :)
  8. Spot on mate. Auto Glym Super Resin Polish is just about the best all rounder polish on the market, and has been for years (trade valeters use it too, just comes under a different name).
  9. Auto Glym HD wax is very good, I'd go for that  [steps onto soapbox] Oh, and 'Carnauba Wax' is actually the name of an ingredient in all good hard waxes - any product that claims to be 100% carnauba wax, isn't! If it was 100% pure carnauba wax it would cost thousands. Legally speaking, it may CONTAIN 100% carnauba wax, (i.e. the small percentage of carnauba in it may have originally been pure) but it will contain many other ingredients and waxes to make it usable/fragrant/lasting etc. [/steps off soapbox] Sorry, I'll get me coat
  10. Looking good buddy :) You got any protection on there?
  11. Rumour is that Nick will be there in the 600zx - weather permitting (not looking good at the moment :( )
  12. Ashby Folville is on next Tuesday mate, always a top night out and I'll be there in me Z (worth the drive for that alone ;) :D) Check out their BaceFook page for details - Folville FB Page
  13. The offer definitely stands mate :D And if I were you I'd pop back to Exhausts UK and see if they'll quieten it down for you - they sorted out a problem with my last Z pipes months after making the system, no charge.
  14. I've had two TT auto LWB's, and two NA manual SWB's - I prefer the NA's but that could be down to the SWB manual bit. It is nice to just jump in, crank her up and go without the worry of warming up/cooling down the tubs :)
  15. I used a cloth so I didn't hurt my precious soft hands LOL!:tt2: :wack: :D
  16. Assuming there isn't held on with agrub screw somewhere, wrap a microfibre cloth around it and unscrew it anticlockwise (stock knobs can be tight as feck!) HTH
  17. I have no mechanical knowledge so I can't help I'm afraid, but I just wanted to say your Largo looks AWESOME!!! JDM yo!
  18. So, I had my mate (who owns Restro Restorations - http://retrorestorations.vpweb.co.uk ) round yesterday who is going to help me restore my shortie over the next winter, and we had a quick poke around the car - and it isn't looking good. In his words, there is nothing that he can't fix, but he thinks it might be more viable to look at re-shelling it. So, ignoring labour (we have an arrangement - I do all his valeting and help with prep work in exchange for his hours) what sort of costs should I be looking at for doing a re-shell? This is waaaay more than I would usually take on but I do love my Z's and this way I would end up with a good solid car, built to my spec - something to be proud of (and save another shortie from the scrapyard). I intend for the finished car to be very basic - a simple NA engine with all unnecessary bits removed, and possibly a stripped out interior - not sure yet. No big sound system, no big power ideas - just a simple reliable Z that looks good and is great to drive and will hopefully last me a lifetime (plenty of rustproofing then ;) ). So, basically, I have no idea what I might be letting myself in for, or how much it's likely to cost LOL!! Any pointers from those in the know, or amateurs (like me) that have done this themselves would be extremely helpful. Cheerz guyz :D
  19. I think it deserves me to look after it - I promise I will ;) :D
  20. Still got the flare too ;)
  21. My heart actually just skipped a beat when I saw that!! One word - WOW!
  22. So what was it then BigSimon? Was it your BMC? If it was I have managed to get one off eBay for a fiver, just in case. It's been spot on for over a week now, no trouble whatsoever. How long did it take for yours to go again?
  23. Ok, so my Z seems to be fixing itself - and it's getting a bit weird now! Firstly, the prop shaft vibration seems to have disappeared after the car had stood for 6 weeks, but that might just be me - and it'll more than likely come back. But the next two things are odd:- I went to move the car a while back and the brake pedal dropped to the floor. I very carefully drove it around for a bit but nothing changed. We came to the conclusion that the master cylinder was shot so I started looking for a replacement. Work wasn't going too well so I decided to shelve the car again for a bit. Until last week. I had a car in for valeting (I help a mate out who owns a resto company) which had a flat battery and I needed to move it. It was parked right next to the Z so I jumpstarted it and duly moved it into my wash bay (a.k.a. the flat bit on me drive :D ). Sat back in the Z to switch it off and just sat in it for a moment, wishing I could go for a spin, and rested my foot on the brake - which was back to normal! Took it round the block - no problems whatsoever. I have been driving it every day since and it is spot on, like nothing ever happened. Odd. Also, a while ago I helped Bantambunny with a bit of polishing on the 600ZX, and to sa 'Ta' he gave me an old reverse light centre panel to replace my badly cracked unit. I swapped that over at the weekend and thought 'That looks better, shame the lights are a bit cracked too'. I didn't worry too much as I'll be changing the lights altogether when I do my resto and they're not bad really. I decided to give it a quick once over yesterday before I popped to town and I stood behind the car feeling quite spooked. The rear lights now have no cracks in them. None at all. They look as good as new. Bizarre! Or perhaps I'm just going nuts. Well, more nuts than I already was. Wibble. Do you think if I leave it long enough it will repair the dent in the door and respray itself? :online2long:
