  1. Great day out at a great club venue - nice one Jeff/Jamie/Lynda - and good to see/meet you all :) And Michael is a star :thumbup1:
  2. Don't count mine - I'll be in a very masculine Tigra :D
  3. I've had a crappy day but the kids are fed, bathed and in bed, and the Mrs has gone out - so I'm gonna skip dinner and just go to bed early. Can't be arsed to eat alone :(
  4. I'll be there early (about half 8ish) but I've got some work to do before the rest of the rabble arrive ;) :D
  5. Sack 'em all!! And make Clarkson honorary God!! I work feckin' hard for my pittance thanks to this current economic black hole we're in - I am out of the house at 5:20am every day and work long hour in all weathers on building sites. I am widely regarded by my contracts as one of the best in my field, yet my income has gone DOWN considerably over the last 3 years due to the recession(s) forcing me to lower prices to remain in work. As it stands I am 35 years old and have no pensions. I don't get sick pay, or holiday pay, or a subsidised pension or any other job related benefits whatsoever - and I'm spending between £250-£300 a week on diesel thanks to rising fuel duty. So when I hear people whinging about their 'minor' financial woes I say F@#K YOU!! Appreciate what you've got and stop being a spoilt little sh1t or quit and let someone else have your job - there's plenty of unemployed who would give their right nut to have your income. .....aaaand breathe :D
  6. Happy birthday Jeff! It was nice to chat to you last week, and I'll see you on Saturday :)
  7. Saturday went well (been decorating since then LOL!) and I have PM'd Steve so he can see my progress first. I'll be finishing off my work 'live' at the Zedworld Xmas Bash, which is where Steve will see his finished car for the first time, so I don't want to post any pics on here until then so as not to spoil the reveal ;) Watch this space..... (or a space very similar to it but possibly in a new thread with a different title :wack::D )
  8. I'll be there, and I will be bringing some kit ;)
  9. Not to fix my Z, but to work on someone else's! I have sorted, cleaned and packed up all my detailing kit ready for a busy morning refining the paint finish on Kaza Steve's Z ahead of it's reveal next week at the Xmas Bash. I've been looking forward to this for a while and I can't wait to see what I can do with it. I've also bought a new wax specifically for Steve's car which I intend to apply at the Xmas Bash to show you lot how I do it (apparently it's quite a sight LOL!!). I'll leave the before/after pics until after the Bash so as not to ruin any surprises ;)
  10. IMO the first time is a real rollercoaster, emotionally and practically. Hang in there and let the professionals do their jobs, they are generally awesome. Our second birth was twins by C-section, a doddle! Just go in as if it were an appointment, get the babies taken out for you, job done LOL! All the best to all the first time Dads, I remember my first like it was yesterday and it was the greatest moment of my life - I hope its the same for you lads :)
  11. The Sony PS3 network was down for ages! :D
  12. I've got sprog no.4 arriving in early January :). Happy days.
  13. Great news mate, welcome to the club :D I had no kids when I first joined here, and by January I'll have four!!!! It's what life's all about bud and I know you'll love it. Scary times ahead but I'm sure you'll rise to the occasion and love every minute of it. And I bet you'll cry at the birth LOL :p
  14. I decided tonight to organise a reunion of all my old metal mates from 'back in the day' via Facebook to meet up at Download 2012 and it's all kicking off!! My old best bud has confirmed, and a mate that lives in Australia has said he'll definitely be there. Awesome - music unites, and then re-unites :D \m/
  15. Black car + white wheels = WIN!! (for me anyway) My old Alfa; :D
  16. WOO-HOO!! Metallica confirmed for the saturday night, count me in for that!!
  17. I was in Cyprus for '09, MAJOR regret :( Be nice to hook up at the next one dude. \m/ METAL FOREVER \m/

  23. I emailed O2 at the end of my contract, and got a text back the nex morning saying my iPhone was now unlocked. Plugged in to iTunes, did a sync and job done! Once your contract with a provider is up they are legally bound to unlock your handset at your request.
