  1. I know I don't come on here much any more but I get news from a Z32 fan page on Facebook and this story popped up today - PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO READ THIS:- http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/announcement.php?f=35&a=28 Being a Father of 4 younglings myself this really hit home with me and I will be making a small donation. The Aus community seem to be rallying round to help this guy and his family get through this ordeal, so I thought I would share it here to see if any of the global Z brotherhood wanted to chip in too. You can also now donate by paypal via enwjohns@netspace.net.au Thanks.
  2. Nothing beats a Marshall stack. RIP Mr M :(
  3. You'll be fine mate, I always allow 6-8 weeks on fresh paint so you are well in the clear.
  4. Big congrats man, enjoy this time and don't stop smiling even when it seems tough :) And as for sleeping through, all 4 of my girls slept 8-10 hours solid from between 3 and 4 weeks old - easy!!
  5. Happy birthday mate!
  6. Thanks all!! Got all my kiddies now (4 girls!) so probably won't be having another Z for a while, but they have been a big part of my life for so long now that I'll never say never ;). Want a TT manual slicktop in satin black next time :D
  7. Check out http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk (where I get most of my kit) and have a look at the Chemical Guys range - awesome stuff that I can't recommend enough :)
  8. Alfa Romeo 'Nero' black is VERY black indeed. No metallic so I think it's a 2k paint. Oh, and the oil man's head on a spike would help
  9. Ooops. Just did a sex wee :blushing:
  10. I fear change. ;) LOL! Only kidding - looks great, if a bit bright for me but I'll get used to it. Well done to all involved and thanks to Lee for putting in the hours. Is that fresh paint I can smell?
  11. Dave - The insurance is probably so high because the chassis encourages you to drive like a proper nut-job!! I'm paying about £300 with the Mrs on there too (9yrs ncb), it goes up if I take her off it. Gary - they all come with a smaller Lotus badge anyway, and I don't mind the larger one TBH, at least it's justified ;) And the mud doesn't bother me any more, I'm a changing man LOL! Even took it for a thrash in the snow today - FILTHY!!
  12. I thought that, but I camped at Sonisphere last year and it was shite. Absolutely nothing whatsoever happened in the campsites after we got back each night. Mind you, we stayed at the bohemia bar till about 3am for two of the nights :D And even if you do see me - you won't know who I am LOL!! (I have Slipknot tattoos on my right forearm and I'll probably be wearing a red baseball cap if that helps :) )
  13. Turbo'ing them is quite common as it's so easy to do so there's a lot of fast ones around. And the twisties is what they were made for - SOOO much fun :D
  14. Indeed, in this case the car really is a Mitsubishi (it's a Colt through and through) with a Proton badge - and Lotus handling of course. Some people just can't see past that badge, their loss.
  15. I am wearing my flame proof suit in anticipation but I thought I'd show you my new toy. It's not exactly a replacement for the Z - I sold the Z and am selling our Tigra (Ebay link if anyone's interested) as we can no longer afford to run 3 cars (we have a 7 seater for the family too which we can't live without). So we needed a hatchback to run about in, that wasn't too expensive to run, but that was also a bit of fun for me to drive. So we ended up with one of these :- Most of you will know anyway, but it is a Proton Satria GTi. 1.8 Mitsubishi Lancer engine (old Evo engine but without the turbo) with the handling and styling done by Lotus. To be honest it is SO much fun! It handles like a proper little go-kart and has a nice rasp to go with it - I feel like a teenager again LOL :D So, what do you think? Anyone got any experience of them?
  16. I'll be there dude \m/ \m/ (not camping though, too old for that sh*t!!)

  18. LOL! I'll keep that comment to myself - for your safety
  19. Everybody, meet my fourth (and final!) daughter, Ashleigh Jane :- And with her biggest Sister, The tech specs :- born at 01:13, 8lb 1.5oz, natural birth, NO PAIN RELIEF WHATSOEVER!! Proud, and tired
  20. :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
  21. TwinZ have confirmed these guys, TwinChip, as their new European distributors on their own official Facebook page today. Looks legit :)
  22. AFAIK the only difference is between TT's and NA's, so yes it should fit ok.
  23. As per the thread title, type 'what defines an English person' into Google, and see what they think ;) :D
  24. Nice Z there mate, and personally I LOVE the Sunny (I'm one of the few on here that appreciates a good Rat ;) )
