  1. Well, the standard wiring only has one flasher unit and part of the job of the hazard switch is to decide whether to feed the flasher permanent power ( for hazards) or ignition switched power ( for indicators) Being a drift car does it need to be road legal? If so you would need to fit a second flasher or change the hazard on toggle in your drawing to a double pole double throw toggle switch and use the second pole to feed appropriate power to the flasher
  2. Actually it seems to work, hello To you too milady tulip, all is well, might even find some meets to visit this year. Oh, it also warns me about grumpy old men too, hi Steve :)

  6. And to answer your question... The converter only has one output which goes to the speedo, after going through some components it then heads off to the ecu
  7. My series 4 has much lighter steering than my series 1. I removed my speed converter and fitted a new face to the speedo ( so it went up to 120 instead of 180) I dont remember much of a change to how light the steering was
  8. Oh no, i've started reading them.... Apparently people who drive vehicles with reversing alarms are all part of satanic cults, and the goverment knows this
  9. What naughty things has mount everest been doing?
  10. Is your steering wheel on straight? Driving for a while at a decent speed in a straight line with the wheel thinking you are turning will bring on the hicas light
  11. Anyone on here bought one of these magic bean witchcraft thingumys yet?
  12. Sorry for the delay replying, forgot the slictop was at work, didnt see the point in comparing the vert to the company transit. Anyway, had a good look now and a bit of a measure and they seem identical, i couldnt work out a good way to measure the curve of the top of the glass, but it looks the same. Only difference is an extra locating pin on the vert at the catch end, but that just unbolts I thought all verts were series 2,3 or 4, so should all have doors without sat belts
  13. I would like some track time, first time in years it hasnt clashed with a big event at work
  14. Ah, i was interested in the roof, think i'll pass
  15. I can look tomorrow as i have both sat outside One obvious difference would be if the slicktop is an early series with door mounted seat belt and the vert has seat belts on the chasis Vert in a breakers?
  16. Whats the bad weather thats forecast? Forcast i saw Looks nicer tommorow than today, which was &@£? Cold working on the car
  17. I think it was my gauges you bought with the boost gauge? I thought they were series 3, this may if true give more options. I got them from andy who breaks zeds, cant remember the company name. He said, oh the airbag model, yup got that
  18. Seeing as most of the replies so far are from people who havnt been, i thought i,d add one from someone who had been once, and probably wouldnt go again I went the year the 370 test drives were there, back then it had a bit more hype on this forum If you went expecting to camp in a field, eat burgers, drink beer and have a laugh round a fire, then it did exactly what it said on the tin There was a band, but to be honest i go to these things to get away from work I enjoyed it, i had a laugh, i bought a few bits from other atendees, and wasnt at work it was basicaly a short camping holiday Without the test drives the days could have been a bit boring as there was little else to do I get the feeling that it used to be big on the selling your unwanted bits, but with the ease of internet selling that is not really a big atraction The main reason i havnt been back, is its a long way to go for a few days camping, jae is an hour closer to home and has more atendees, Lakes has better views and a drive out and better facilaties. I also agree with all the above people too, you cant polish a turd, sprinkling it with glitter doesnt work either when its a dried up old turd Meets these days need an atraction, and benefit from a drive as part of it and as much as i like a bit of camping, its not for everyone There are a lot more beulieu like events, wings and wheels at dunsfold ( where they film top gear) is a great family event and has club stands for example
  19. Never been to the plain, planned to twice. Once it was to wet and the army asked people not to go, and the other time broke it the day before. Quite happy to have passengers or co drivers
  20. I'm considering going to the landrover meet this weekend
  21. Welcome back, saw your photos a few days ago and thought they were both the wrong colour to be yours
