  1. I thought you couldnt fit a na sensor in a tt box? The na sensor cog is smaller, so wouldnt touch the box cog, unless someone has designed a relocation bracket? When i put a tt box in my na this was the case. So i bought an adjustable speedo converter. You fit it, drive , note speed on speedo and on sat nav, look up provided chart and enter value into converter
  2. I don't see it and I should at least be a friend of a friend. facebook page just seems to have Joels video
  3. What times dinner? Whats the postcode? I'm running a bit late / just got up
  4. Some years back i bought a really cool cubby hole. It had 2 draws, one for change and stuff and one with 2 fold out drinks holders. It fitted perfectly, I was well chuffed with it , right up till i drove down hill and diet coke poored into my stereo. Obviously not designed for sloping din slots
  5. what time are people thinking of getting there from? I was thinking of aiming for about 8 to 8.30 depending on traffic
  6. I'm free all of august
  7. Blue velour rear seats £50 ( 2 parts, back and seat) I bought a set of seats from a series 4 LWB , neither of my zeds have rear seats, so not even unwrapped and up for grabs here Photos of them from Jaikai's sale thread: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=92898&d=1451057704 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=92894&d=1451057598 Collection from Guildford, or postage at whatever it costs me
  8. Not too keen on what theyve done to the front lights
  9. Yes i suspect the window amp is to blame for the lack of auto function, as it takes the signal from the switches and turns it into up/ down commands. What i,m not sure about is what decides to switch off the motor when the window gets to the end stops either in auto or because you held the switch down. I,m assuming it's in the motor as if it was the amp that detected high current draw and switched off , how would it know to switch on again Might be over Thinking it but i like to understand how things work. I,ve got a spare amp and a new motor is on its way
  10. So i found it in the manual, under body not electrical of course. Its showing a circuit breaker in the motor, presumably this is a self resetting circuit breaker that cuts out when the glass hits an end stop???
  11. Also, cant find electric windows in my early service manual, only in my '96 manual, which doesnt have auto up apparently
  12. Trying to fix my window Took the motor assembly out today, took it all apart tested everything put it all back together and it worked fine, fitted it to the car, all good except up was down ( somewhere in the mechanics not the electrics) so all out again , rebuilt, refitted and now partially working. The auto function doesnt auto When it gets to the top ( holding switch down) it doesnt stop, it just keeps trying and making bad noises Half way up it stops and makes bad noises, a quick push up by hand and its on its way again. So the questions / pondeirings The top end stops just seem to be stops in the way with no sensors or switches, so i assume it knows to stop because the motor tries harder and draws more current? The bad noises are cogs in the gearbox slipping when life gets hard, thus not drawing more current and thus not switching off?? I need a new motor? Why doesnt auto auto? Its not due to problem described above, as it would auto and never stop??
  13. Any one got a drivers side electric window motor and mechanism?
  14. I thoroughly enjoyed the day , however I did feel it was lacking the relaxed friendly feel of some of the castle coombe japfests of 3 or 4 years ago where there were a lot more 300s and lots of people sat around the cars chatting. the tarmac pitch was obviously of benefit due to the weather (heared a lot of clubs on grass complaining), but it did feel a a bit carpark , where castle coombe grass on a sunny day was nicer. not a complaint, just an observation what I did think was shit was when we all got back from the first track sessions all the spaces were taken also thought the japfest program (magazine ) was shit and overpriced. they had removed all the track time info from the website so if you wanted to know what was on when you had to hunt down a small black gazebo and buy the info for £5 if you wanted to know where the different club stalls was , the same £5 got you a map with a large area labelled "club stalls" but no more info than that, and it didn't even show the area over the bridge where most of the club stalls were as even existing. I would have expected at least with the club stall booking to get a map and a track time included

great morning out , despite the cold start it turned out to be a nice sunny morning. Such a range of different cars . I've not been for a couple of years , but the track was fuller than I've seen it, all mixed together new, old, older, big small, smaller and bigger. I especially liked the steam powered one that could do 35 miles to a tank of water just a few cars from the electric one that could do 400 miles to a charge.
  18. are they sorting out getting in , the queue is putting me off coming
