  2. looking at doing something with my boost soon, wont you need two boost solenoid's seeing as we have two turbo's? or is there some way around this?
  3. humm good site, so whats best? Platinum or Iridium spark plugs?
  4. been drawing again apollo? very cool! with i could draw that well! i cleaned mine with a dab of brasso, takes ages to get off again but good results if you stick at it, best just using normal polish on your paint and back to black on your black bits, or try a drill with a polishing cloth on it on ur inlet's? going to do this to mine sometime this week i hope so ill let you know how it goes! :D

  8. mine did the same when i changed my steering wheel, iv just taken the bulb out as people on hear said it will be fine, been like it for over a year now with no problems :cool:

  10. Mate you are going to have to get some pics up of them when they are fitted!! iv spent the past year looking for a good set, with no joy yet, have you been given a price on fitting?
  11. i have a traders policy, only way i could insure one of these at 23 with a drink driving ban under my belt :duffer: (morning after i hasten to add when i was 19 and stupid) so it doesn't matter what i drive as long as its worth under 13K.. so no problems there. you could always say its just for track use and remove the relay, and just stick it back in again when you want to use it? may be worth just giving them a call and asking?
  12. dont suppose you have a contact number or web site for him mate? how easy was it to blumb in? and do you have any problems with your stearing rack as iv been told the senders can snag on them? sorry about the 21 questions! :)
  13. iv asked about those as well, $175 to get them posted out to us, but again no pics of the kit, but they do come with a lifetime guarantee, although would be interesting trying to claim that from hear!
  14. i asked him about them and he says he has no pics of the kit and doesn't know where they came form.... so id stay away from that one! they are very pointless.. but again i do think they look quite good, but i haven't heard of a kit that fits ours yet.
  15. iv got a 60 shot wet kit fitted to mine, been in there for over a year and iv never had any problems.. i dont use it a lot but its good fun when you do! :dance:

  21. ok im looking at fitting an oil temp and presure guage to keep a better eye on things, iv done a search and found how to get the pressure one in, but what about oil temp? is there a sender i can "plumb" into or am i going to have to do some crazy stuff with the 10mm bolt above the oil filter? (man this is turning out to be a big project!) Cheers all!!
  22. could always buy a diesel and run it on cooking oil :x: :x: i have a "friend" who has a rover :x: 420 turbo diesel and iv.... i mean he's done over 1000 miles on good old tesco value cooking oil 42p per litre.. have a look on the net, i bull shit you not.. it works a treat, better if mixed with a bit of diesel though... diesel? rover? .... ill get my coat....TAXI
  23. iv been warned about removing the cats due to the back presure holding the turbo seals in.... id like to do it myself but im a bit worried about a huuuuuuge bill for new turbo's 3 months later!! :smash: is this just wives tales or is it a big prob if you take them out?
