Headed down to Goodwood this morning around 7am hoping to burgle the zed onto the track along with all the other soft-tops...it worked! One of the stewards said, "I no your not a soft-top but go for it!" Another massive turn out for the breakfast club at Goodwood. Really good morning...the cars were more than half way up the Lavant straight which is a record number of cars. Anyone else there? Saw a couple of people take pictures of the zed so i was happy!

im left handed! i have looked at the early upgrade option and i would have to pay £80 as my contract ends in november this year... however im apparently on the o2 silver priority list which is meant to help me out with upgrading quicker but not sure if thats valuable or not!

saw a red zed driving out of the dockyard and driving into town. i was going out of town in a black zed. dont think you saw me though! anyone here?

id stick it out. there will be a buyer out there somewhere. the 300zx is a car that people know quite a lot about (in my opinion) before they buy it. £2500 sounds like a fair price, i would have said 2k would be fair, thats just because its not a twin turbo. is it leather or cloth interior? because that also makes a significant difference. someone on here not too long ago wanted to swap their twin turbo for a N/A for some strange reason. that would be easier to sell if you swapped it.

turned out to be rear fogs. how very boring! and yes it is rather nasty...but doesnt bother me enough to change it!

Hi everyone, i dont have a clue what this switch does. the guy i bought the car off didnt know either but he thinks when he left it on, the battery went dead (not sure if i believe this or not). any ideas? or am i just being stupid... its the red switch in the bottom right of every photo...

insurance companies are in existence to make money. not to help you. i have had some horrible experiences with insurance companies which resulted in me losing my 4 years no claims for an accident that wasnt my fault. if i think about it too much il get pi*sed off so il leave it there...

i had about 5 boost leaks, zedworld fixed 4 of them...but the last one is under the plenum. anybody reckon i should have a go myself at removing the plenum? not sure if i back myself though haha! not the most technical/mechanical person around... reaaaaally dont want to screw it up even more, and dont really feel like paying £300 for zedworld to fix it.

is there a decent specialist garage your using in portsmouth that im unaware of? sure would be helpful instead of trekking upto zedworld...

il be there but only live down the road so wont be camping!

mate where are you in chichester!? im in emsworth, literally 3 or 4 miles down the road from you. hopefully will see it sometime in the summer and we can help eachother with the problems that will no doubt arise! how much mechanical knowledge do you have!

im getting 20 miles for £10. no sh*t! I have a boost leak though so my mpg is worse than normal... also thats just driving around in town in 2/3rd gear! still terrible though...

no wasnt me im afraid, but there was a gorgeous red 300zx there! I think my avatar is a standard one because i never even set it, but my car is coincidentally black anyway! so many incredible cars turned out for it. but...far too many 911's. its like everyone in west sussex and hampshire has a 911!

Hi everyone, anyone on here down at goodwood today for supercar madness? there was about 4 incredible 300zx's in the paddock. couldnt manage to find any owners though.

im actually excited to be seeing this car on the road as well. its just a masterpiece of engineering. could easily win the award for best modified car in portsmouth!

Hi there and welcome. I have literally just bought a 300zx (about 3 weeks ago). It is INCREDIBLE. so much fun... I DID buy the first one i saw (what an idiot eh?) but it turned out to be a great purchase. I got it for 2k and i had receipts for new turbos and a full engine rebuild. Firstly TOUCH WOOD, it hasnt cost me any money yet. The first thing i did was take it to zedworld which i would highly recommend. They do a full check up all round the car to tell you what it needs doing and what it doesnt! basically mine was all good except a boost leak which is very common. Mine is a jap import, twin turbo and a manual and that is what i would recommend. You can get a decent one for 2-3k id say. Good luck with it, its definitely worth it!

awesome, thanks for the info guys. its a jap spec so im thinking 25mm hubcentric all round. god they are expensive for a piece of metal though! what is the main advantages to hubcentric then, worth the cash?
