  5. 19 volts on idle sounds very high. a high alternator output could damage the battery. rather than a battery problem it sounds like the alternator could be the problem

  7. I am going to be getting some nismo 555's, but i have a MINES ecu. does anyone know how and where i could get it remapped for the bigger injectors. :confused: Or would it be better going for a different chip. Eddie
  8. Cheers for the feedback. i use nothing but optimax. as it dets if i use standard fuel. According to the conzult the base timing is set to 15 deg is this ok? Well just to get me back on the road i have put a full set of Champion R8 PYP plugs in and all seems to be running well even at 13psi. all the other plugs where in good condition.

After doing a 400 mile drive the last 20 miles the zed began to misfire. so when got home i found out that cylinder 5 plug electrode had melted a bit and stopping it from sparking, :shock: I have now put a new plug in and it runs very smooth with no puffs of blue smoke. or any signs of major bore damage I am currently running with 13psi of boost and the boost contoller set to cut off at 1 bar. i have stock injs and turbs but have a mines ecu Does anyone know what would have caused this. :confused: Cheers Eddie

  12. Looking at an Autodata disc, it depends if its with or without EOBD, ( unsure what that means ) but if its without EOBD then YES its the same as the Z32. Eddie

  16. i found the circuit diagram on the internet that converts the ECU output to the coms port on the pc and made it.the only thing was i couldnt get the connector to connect to the car so i spliced into the loom the datascan software has nothing to do with the conzult

  19. I have a fuel pressure gauge i want to pumb in, If i was to T off just after the filter will this display the same pressure as at the injectors. if not where do i need to connect it? Cheers Eddie

  21. well cheers for the advice i will be getting it dyno'ed properly next time. what about the black smoke that was coming from the left bank what could that be? if the AFM or O2 sensors where knackered would it show on the ecu diagnostics Eddie

Hi all Took the zed to a roling road for the first time last week and it made 230rwhp@5500 :cry: I thought this is quite low as i have done; hks induction kit de-cat MINES ecu boost controller running at 13 psi The guy said it was the first time he has put an auto on a rolling road. While on the dyno the left bank was smoking a bit (black smoke) does anyone think this could be O2 sensor problems, AFM problems or just the guy who put the car on the dyno :confused: The printout i got was S**T it only had a graph of the rwhp on it. Any feedback i greatful as i have no idea. cheers Eddie

  24. i used oxy (good old blue spanner) at a garage to get them off mine afer heating them up they came off no problem
