  1. i think i have done a fair grand job still got a couple more bits to do on the body work to make her look splendid. Oh and i got a shorty TT arriving next weekend :)
  2. Oh forgot to add i have Fairlady shagpile mats to go in as well they are in the wash tried to edit but the crazy thing keeps saying i have attached 11 pics which is too many????
  3. Hi folks so today i took my spare shorty zed out to get it washed and drives like a dream it was nice to get the roofs off :) So i bought this zed when she was in a poor state and heading for the scrap heap due to being a non runner. Below i have put the details and i have put alot of money and effort into this to produce a nice zed for a sale to another member or future member. SWB targa top NA automatic in silver metallic H reg so a 1991 if im right i have the V5 doc in my name The engine was goosed so i have installed a 1995 engine from Bobgenies slicktop that i bought off of Slickpete The engine was on 70k miles approx and is later model injector plugs which i have changed over and millers oil has been used in the engine. EGR is deleted as well as Carbon canister. The car is on 118k KM Later model Velour seats both electric and will be working and lovely grey alcantara interior Monza rear spoiler and TT front bumper 18in 5 spoke alloys front tyres are low will change if they dont pass MOT I will also install a sony stereo Car will come with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax So there we have it i have nearly finished her ready for the new owner. I will offer a limited time offer to club members and a higher price for ebay/pistonheads. Please could we keep this thread serious and on topic :) I think that is it as long as i havent missed anything Oh just to add as well i would like to value it at the higher end of the price range as i am in no hurray to sell it with the summer coming along, i am not skint and i will not be open to offers as face it with the summer coming along these cars always sell better :) Marty
  4. i dont get any conflicts but it is avg that seems to spot most the threats anyway its a top program :)
  5. oh ive got a Koyo one as well with modified bracket and electric fan set up
  6. i use avg and zone alarm and spybot
  7. Yep thanks i have researched into the HA model and comments made by other people on all different motors
  8. this has appeared on ebay too but at that price may be a bargain
  9. Ah top link thanks alot i think i will go that way then
  10. i have seen a SWB NA on there for £2500 but as Baz says i think £2500 is a bit optimistic.
  11. lol i just looked at it and thought if i did fix it it would be hard to shift anyway. No where near a showcar and what trophy would it win? Thought about breaking it as well but half the parts no one would want cos of the colour. I think to get a good return on it would need to sell it over 2k and im not sure it would sell for that much tbh
  12. ah yeah i see it well if the price is right who knows :) not sure if he is wanting to sell it though
  13. which one the red one or the black one? i think 2 projects is enough to be tinkering with. Im getting the black shorty next friday i reckon pics will be incoming :)
  14. yeah i was gonna go for 200 but i figured they cost around 800 or so new so put my snipe up to 305.77 :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220757838306&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
  15. suspension a few more people may have been bidding on :)
  16. the item i told you about yesterday the guy lives 5 minutes from me thats auction snipe for ya :)
  17. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170618276461&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT my snipe went in at £25.77 with 3 seconds to go
  18. they are bigger therefore easier to get rid of the heat. A uprated thermostat will open later i believe which will help warm the engine up quicker
  19. what about the right one i heard it may be forged internals :) oh that plenum was on the floor yesterday too
  20. ah Simon had a TT engine off me :) and im pretty sure he picked up another TT engine too so i think he has evil plans
  21. whats the views on this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220752315903&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  22. i have a Exedy twin plate sitting around doin nothing though why shell out for a NA clutch when i will be converting to TT anyway
  23. cos if im gonna have the prop off i want a one piece put back on. Its a mod i will eventually do so might as well do it at the same time. so a one piece NA prop would work on the NA diff and the TT box or does length become as issue then?
  24. ah so what you are saying is it is the diff that causes the difference in prop size and not the box? have to figure out what is the best option then as the box i have now is good with no bad noises so i trust it
