the car was on ebay i was watching it went as a breaker for around a grand. The engine looked in a terrible state and it hadnt been run for about a year apparently

i dont think they are skilled enough to say it should be no problem see if they will put a guarantee on that statement. Think i know the zed these have come off and the engine was running NOS and looked a right state

Yes 2 nuts top one nut on the bottom just thr rear ones you have to take all the interior bits out

Ive got them but not tried them out yet but i took my Teins off to put them on. There is a few members on here that say they are awesome so thats why i got them plus they do a different spring rate for the SWB

is it the same stud pattern though otherwise without re designing a plenum you will struggle

Amc wasn't cheap at all. All in its best part of a grand To say that I had the whole thing rebuilt in a day and running is a lot easier than a v6 but then I wouldn't even attempt to do that with the engine in :)

last week driving back had overheating and plumes of white smoke so straight away i thought the head gasket had gone. Seems Hilux`s are quite common for the head to crack as well so i had to get it off and take a look to confirm. Had the head off within a day to inspect and here are the results below. Sure enough a few cracks can be seen from the outside and probably more within and the amount of crap and gunk in the ports just shows how bad things were. Cleaned out the inlet manifold as that was caked in it and got on the phone to rough trax to order some new parts. Gasket set, bolts and a AMC cylinder head which inb the 4x4 world are outstanding as to buy a cheap one off ebay from taiwan or somewhere could just cause more dramas down the way. Head fitted today and the truck is all back together and running within a day all on my own thats quick work :) Deleted the EGR while i was at it lol i love less mess in an engine bay

cant yet the car is in the garage and non driveable with the truck in the way stripped in front of it

i think this has come out of a grey zed that was up for sale not too long ago claiming big figures the engine looked in a right state with the nos fitted. He should have racelogic traction control for sale soon if it is the same zed

round the track it can be a different matter though :) Im quite happy with my NA at the moment and is very nippy although i will convert to a TT at some point to chase BHP figures. TT ones do have alot more mechanical problems and hard to get a good one IMO as alot are fried

Just been fitting my Meister R`s and playing about with the ride height in the pics below i have screwed the bottom out 10 complete turns and this is how we are sitting. What settings have others used with Meister R`s? FRONT REAR
