  1. Can buy mine for 8k too I think it means a lot more to you when you do the work yourself which is why I'd never sell
  2. Lol my plans seem to be around that figure too however I can do a lot of the work myself :) if you wanna get an engine built it will cost you 6k plus do it yourself about half that but that's just for the block then you need the rest to be able to get the power out of your new block. I'm crazy too so in happy to drop 20k into the zed however it will be something special by the end
  3. might of been covered already in the 114 posts but was there any prizes from the club at JAE?
  4. I hope things do start to get better as by this statements ideas are disregarded due to a few people speaking out. I thing the whole committee needs to have a look into the way things are dealt with as people basically want more meets and events from what ive seen however with REO posts gapped and some REO`s not organising or suggesting anything to the regional members then things are not going to change. Some REO`s dont even own a zed lol and i thought the job was to organise meets for zed members. In my 2 years ive been to 2 events related to this club and i dont think ive missed any. The rest have been either a few of us organising it or ending up on other club stands.
  5. I only pay the subs so i can sell parts as this is the better place to sell them however i didnt know there was this pot of money sitting around
  6. if you want cheap you need 2nd hand there is some for sale on here however with second hand you can never guarantee how good they are
  7. ive done mastiff and am a mastiff driver great fun. Best bit is getting away from the REME and working detached on your own i did alot of tour with infantry companies
  8. Its been great fun the job is awesome at times once you get through all the training
  9. yep :) thats where i get my skills to work on the zed
  10. Ive been a VMA since i was 18 lol if you go Bassingbourn for phase one i know all the staff there
  11. Nah ive gone now man. The prop and all my drivetrain feels alot better however it wasnt just the prop i changed there was a whole load of drivetrain and suspension bits adding to a very torquey NA will have to see what sort of 1/4 mile times i can put down. I do however need a new box at some point as there is noise from the mainshaft bearings that i dont like. No problems getting gears but its just something i will change with the engine.
  12. yeah my one piece is on. Never heard of Arias so be interested in performance however Carrillo are the best available :)
  13. it should line up with the holes for where the bell housing bolts to then its just a case of nuts and bolts thats some nice internals you got there. What is Arias though never heard of them?
  14. i would say they are 60mm wider as u get 60mm spacers to go with it i know the abflug is 60mm
  15. yeah i see what you mean that braided hose you have on looks like it can move slightly? should be able to get it to fit then :)
  16. yeah still looks like loads of room as the starter motor sits in tight to the g/box so i wouldnt see it being that far forward
  17. looks like there is loads of room the starter motor is higher than those two pipes
  18. You have a plenum water bypass on your engine if its for yours therefore only 4 pipes back there iirc 2 of those being the heater ones
  19. Ah you can see half of it there I did have a front on pic maybe in my rides Yep see my rides
  20. My turbo timer is fixed with double sided tape in front of the odometer and the Apexi rev speed meter is between the left pod and steering collumn. Bee r rev limiter is on top of the steering column. I posted a pic not long ago if you wanted to see as I can't upload at the moment
  21. Thank you Jeff and Jamie for hooking mine up and finding the faults :)
