We alwasy make a big deal of it, a) any excuse to go crazy and b) everyone goes back to work in the respective parts of the UK and its a while before we meet up again! This year 3 cars are driving to Weymouth, all dressed up, and setting of around 3pm. Those are are not driving (circa 10 people) will be playing drinking games/dares on the way down :D Continue partying untill clubs close, then (if we can bare the cold) continue to party on the beach :D Downside is... we have no where to sleep, so in the cars it is!!! Im dressing up as a racing driver.. full body suit etc lol

Ah right, dont worry when I get my Zed I will then subscribe, just dont know when I'll be in a position to purchase one! :)

Very informative, and it goes agasint what I would have thought :wack: When I finally get my hands on a Zed it wont be my daily driver, as I dont/cant have a car for work, so it will most likely be used on weekends and the odd evening. Im assuming the length of journey is more important that the freqency (within reason) of taking the car out??

Noticed while looking at Zeds that some have single exit and others have twin, was wondering if it was purely aesthetically, or is there a reason? For me twin's look much nicer, fit the profile of the car etc (whereas for eg a supra would look silly with twin exit pipes, and I dont think Ive ever come across one), is there a practical reason people choose to get rid of twins and stick a single exit pipe on?? :hyper:

Yeh, having had a look around there arn't that many UK cars on the market at the moment, which is not a problem as im not ready to buy right now, and when I am ready, I can be patient for the right one! But I have realsied that 60k is very unlikely.. my worry with getting a car that has 100k on the clock would be reliability etc How long can those turbos/head gasket/anything else go for?? (without needing engine out repairs that I wouldnt be able to do myself!)

Yeh, tell me about it! I initially searched for an import and no-one would even provide me with a quote! So the £1050/£1300 was based on a UK car.. I reckon with abit of shopping aroud and haggling (I do work in sales after all) I should be able to find a quote for £1100 FC.. we'll see when the time comes!

Slightly O/T but this is interesting.. who are you insured with? I did a quick confused.com search to see if getting a Zed would be viable at all (gives you a general idea of what ure going to have to pay) and it came back with £1050 TPFT or £1300 FC thats being 22 with 4 yrs NCB.. doesnt seem to be asgood value as youve got going there..
