Now Merc is poised to add to that already impressive list of gizmos with a forthcoming option aimed at reducing the risk of driving along when you really need a wee. Dubbed Piss Assist, the new system works using a system of tubes, bottles and a funnel and will be offered on the S-class from this summer. "Our research shows that road safety can be severely compromised by driving along desperately needing a slash," said one Stuttgart Insider. "As well as impaired concentration caused by focusing attention on not wetting yourself, there is also the risk of not operating the controls correctly thanks to heightened levels of leg jiggling". Benz insiders say Piss Assist will not only dramatically reduce the number of times when the motorist has to drive like a nutter to reach a petrol station before they get any seepage on the front of their keks - the system will also prove a bonus for long distance drivers who can't be arsed to stop for a waz. However, before Piss Assist has even gone on sale Mercedes spies say that the company is already working on a second generation system which will make use of the urine stored in the on board bottle, rather than simply dumping it on the road once a pre-set speed threshold has been passed. Instead, the driver will have the option of firing jets of hot piss from a special washer jet carefully designed to repel those twats who try to wash your screen at the lights. The more advanced Piss Assist is likely to be phased in with the introduction of another forthcoming S-class option called Pikey Fighter Plus which is designed to keep the poor away from your car. Not to be outdone, BMW is said to be working on a system to rival Piss Assist, believed to be labelled Shitronic. Alan.........

Still want a Zed mate, only I want a good one, so this is only a means to an end. Still got the arch kit tho ! Badmonkey on this forum is gonna fit them to his Zed, which is my old Zed ! If that makes sense. :confused: Much too good an offer to pass up. Not many cars you can double or triple your money on these days. Gonna have to be Zed-less for a wee while tho, but all to the good for my next one. :) Still would like to be an active member of this forum tho ! :bow: Might be Zed-less at the moment, but its only a matter of time !! :) Will post up some pics of the Vette if any body is interested. Not looking for a Zed replacement Andy. See it more of a chance to double my money and get a better Zed ! :) As for reliability, had several Yanks in the past twenty years and never had any problems with them breaking down. Their technology was way behind the East, and in the early eighties they realised they were falling way behind. Took them a long while to get their act together tho ! Alan........

As many of you will know, my Zed was written off in an accident a few weeks back. Eventually got a semi decent figure from the Insurance Company and decided to take their offer, plus buy the car back. Was going to go for the wide arch style and re-paint. However ! Was offered a very large sum of money for the Zed the way she sat, without doing any repairs. Started thinking and looking around. Dont all rip the p**s here, but have made a decision. On Monday I will be the owner of a Chevrolet Corvette C4. Not yet registered in this country, 5.7 TPI motor, 3 over 4 manual gearbox, full leather and 52,000 miles. All import duties paid. I reckon I can double my money, maybe even triple it with ease. So that makes me in a better position to buy a good Zed later in the year. Actually felt quite sad when I delivered her to her new owner tonight. :cry: Any hoo, Cant wait till Monday ! :dance: If only this had happened 6 months ago, I would be talking to SGT C !! Obviously there are better ones than that on the market, it all depends on how often you are going to use it I suppose. Might not be any good for a mechanic doing 40 hours a week, but it should be ok for a weekend job at 4 hours or so. Spare battery as well, always ready to go. Just a thought mate. Must be honest and say that I have never tried one, but maybe get a demmo at your local B&Q or Machine Mart store may be helpfull ?? No annoying airlines to drag all over your wings etc. Alan....

Why do they always seem to jam your fingers between the off handle and the chassis somewhere ?? :smash: :smash: Snap-on do a cordless one now that would be more than capable than handling the everyday jobs on a Zed.
