  5. i have a pair of black j spec folding mirrors £50 pair delivered :cool: if your retaining the stock callipers then the hawk hps front pads are a nice setup and bite really well, or for a little more money ferrodo ds pads are awesome but will set you back around the £120 for the fronts alone suspension if on a budget id go for the kyb AGX ajustables with eiback pro springs most people who have this combo like it! and is 50 times better over stock and for under £500 you cant go wrong cheers greg
  6. definatly an uprated HG unsure on pistons, need to measure bore with accurate measurements then go from there, also your oil pickup looks in a mess :wack:

  10. clutch would struggle to engage, and would probably make a noise from the layshaft
  11. you may find its to tight to fit, but if you thin it down slightly get some coppergrease on it, it should then press in no probs
  12. yes its the spigot bearing or known as needle bearing you will need to replace before you put it back together

  18. your joking right? alfas have got to be the worst build quality iv seen! they rot like hell, and you only need to look on alfa forums to see how unreliable they are. styling is ok, but the 156 looks frumpy, but i do like the interior's on them

  20. i have a recon box if you need one £375 with large aftermarket oil cooler which is vital to keep the gearobx cool, and prevent it burning out it has approx 10k miles on it regards greg
  21. as andy says slacken the tension rod bracket or remove alltogether and out they come :cool:

  23. split the gearbox and just pull the engine to much fookin about lifting it all out whilst its sat vertical pissing gearbox oil everywhere sod that!
