japanese or not bud it will still rust! unfortunatly a small break in the paintwork once it settles in its like cancer spreads. I know someone who had an alfa romeo and at the time was 3 years old, the whole metal work below the radiator rusted away and had to be replaced.

not sure if white looks differant from one to the other, no direspect meant there, but nissan did 2 types of white! pearl white on the imports :) and a plain mettalic white on the uk spec. what colour is yours currently?

IIRC the speed sensor wire to the back of the clocks is blue/yellow as you have said you can also take an earth of the series of screws on the back of the clocks (pcb) use a multimeter though as a couple of the feeds on the pcb have a +12v feed ;)
