  2. at the oil filter tree there is a one way valve hence why no pressure will pass, i doubt it would be a clogged line, remove the line its not to difficult then check
  3. for all the right reasons, at least its still got the vg30dett (just)
  4. thats pimpin ;p il have one at the best price
  5. with no water in an engine what cools the engine down? ;) on a seperate note, you said in d and accelerating the car was making grinding noises and loosing power? not a good thing with so much heat im not surprised if the bearings have not welded to the crank. or worse best thing is to have it looked at by someone who knows, its pointless guessing to what the problem may be without testing/listening ;)
  6. overheat, did you say there was no water in the rad in your first post/ that would explain that if so, normally when the heads cook it can do a lifter in! hence the rattle with the lack of coolant circulating its no surprise the oil was raging hot bud
  7. get on then vi
  8. sounds like you have cooked the engine, is the rattle present at any RPM? or above 3k RPM? oil cooler will be cool as thats what it is a cooler the hoses may be warm though. oil burnt the bucket? jeez idealy you should of stopped the car as soon as you thought there was a problem, you have probably cooked the heads, and as you have carried on the engine temp has got so high its cooked, remove coilpacks if you can, id expect there melted in to the heads, seen that a few times
  9. as said you should not rely on the jack alone, good idea if you ask me, might get one

  15. ^^what he said, looks right that-best colour to!
  16. best way is to chop the EGR feeds off weld ujp the ends and refit back in to plenum, although its a bit awkward removing all the pipework with the engine in you can just block the vacum hose to the EGR this will keep it closed therfor making it inoperative. EGR removed in other words
