  1. i like the colour bit sceptical when they say things liek 330bhp i see no evidence of any perfomance mods,other than that drivers seat is a common fault on 70-80% of zeds and tatty OEM spoilers
  2. correct a compression test wont indicate HG failure but it will indicate whether or not the engine is in good health,you obviously know that yourself :tongue: i seen HG failure yesterday and once the engine was up to temp the plenum was impossible to touch and the pressure was that high in the systym the top rad pipe bulged 3times its size along with milkshake in the radiator :eek:

    karl phone ryan on 07968166640 he is one of the traders on here under the name z-tech based in wiltshire phone him,he offers free advice and is very helpful,you could even pop over and run a consult on your car to see if there are any faults etc FOC of course HTH Cheers greg :)

    there quick enough in standard form the only problem is over time you get use to the power,so you fettle and add a little bit :D so your not bored,i work on zeds for a living its a shame to see some sorry zeds that have had a hard life,there are nice 300s out there,it can be a minefield so be careful,your best bet is to go with someone who knows there zeds

    normally due to low fluid but you say you have topped up already,i just fitted my blitz boost controller over the light,so i never need to worry PMSL :D
  7. ,the reason for half boost is safety boost,because of the overheating the engine is going into safety mode change the temp sensor but symptoms point to HG failure do acompression test
  8. did you see the news today a women driving a citroen with 6 passengers in the car crashed into oncoming vehicle killing 4 people it was her sons birthday party,why 7 people in a car that has 4seatbelts FFS the driver of the car was killed instantly the 3passengers were children

  14. go careful with tein there not the best setup for the z unless you use your z for trackdays only not the most comfortable drive,you will be visiting the dentists for new fillings :wack:
  15. yeh i have kybs and eibach springs had to get the shocks from the states,but i here good things about new stock shocks and eibach springs,and eibach is very subtle and drops only a slight bit,the ride is very smooth aswell and the kyb agx is ajustable

  20. that strut brace looks like it was involved in an RTA ffs
  21. if your rear main seal is slightly leaking,it wouldnt be certain pcvs would cause main seal to blow also overfilled with oil can do this,the smell is probably oil dripping on to the hot exhausts or downpipes
  22. thats question is like how long is a piece of string,if well maintained regular oil changes,not been thrashed all its life theres no reason why a 300zx wont last for 200k+ the only things that would need replacing are the turbochargers,which yours have failed so there you go.
