  1. Sounds more like the woodruff key is either not there or bolt has worked loose, Bolt should be torqued to around 200ft lb IIRC. Remove the radiator and viscous blade for room. If car is a manual place it in gear and check tightness or if removal you will need a 2-3 legged puller. 27mm socket and long breaker type bar If car is auto you can either lock pulley with an old v.ribbed belt (quicker) Or remove starter motor and lockoff flywheel/ringgear to stop crank rotating.
  2. Not come on here much these days dude, But all i can say is keep strong for little one iv 3 kids so can only imagine how much trauma this is causing, Be positive. All the best matey Greg, katherine and kids.

  5. i doubt the feed will be coming from the S.sensor at the ECU mearly of the clocks, That will sort you out one of them, Which comes with instructions on how to wire in and which pin to use on the rear of the clocks, pick up signal is from a blue/green wire cant remember what number but instructions will tell you. Worth checking wiring is ok with current speedo convertor first might be poor connection.
  6. ello bud:tongue: i do fall in here drunk now and again:wack:
  7. Stiff suspesion and worn hicas? will make the whole ride even worse, But as david says you could soften the setting so you get some rebound! lol
  8. worth checking the steering UJ at the rotational point can cause a grinding sensation through the wheel, and slack steering. but if its rotational noise check tyres and balancing first. Then look at joints around suspension. Any vibrations?
  9. not much else worth forging anyway chris, unless you were aiming for 600+hp never rated weisco, Not sure a cotter pin would be much good radron LOL but they may aswell supply cotter pins:rofl: its more to do with the shite design and failing circlip/s!!
  10. the HCU controls the hicas (solenoids) the ECU controls the engine thats my point spunk nuts (I was being pedantic):D:tongue:
  11. you havent got one bud:rofl: cars after 93/94 would have due to electronic hicas. hydraulic's dont require an ECU.

  13. Both cam covers off, And remove the four screws on each centre cam, Becareful as they can spring out double fast, Loosen them slowly and cup your hand over it, Expect some oil to leak out, So keep some rag under sprocket, So its not to leak on to cambelt!. Remove old springs, Replace with new. You may aswell replace the rubber o-rings behind sporcket cover to! greg
