  5. you cant get a flexi socket attachment in there bud i already told yas how to but looks like he didnt listen LOL 14MM spanner grinded down thinner or remove engine its easier that way :p
  6. might of been told this before but a speed delimiter fitted on imports can cause PS related issues check the wires behind the dash, there will be a wire spliced in to the speed sensor sometimes this becomes loose or the delimiter unit just packs up,worth a look if not already

you can use a chip from a an auto to a manual but not the other way round
  8. for simple removal of rad is remove the lower cowling if its still there, and remove the lower fan shroud which unclips that way there is no need to remove the viscous fan
  9. thats cam sprocket seals matey remove the 4x 7mm screws and replace the o-ring behind each plate check idler spring and replace if needed 10min job bud :)
  10. z tech wont be as busy in september so could always give ryan a ring
  11. best thing to do is stay with him until approx 60 as there only quick up to that then bye bye 110 120 130 140 150 160 "oh i swear there was a scooby next to me" must be the stella :p
  12. plug your arsehole with it and check for detonation,if det occurs cut down on the madras
  13. all depends on what damage if any is present! obviously engine out LOL but if piston rings are damaged they can sometimes damage the block aswell so as you say a new liner would need to be used,TBH without engine out who can say! Broken rings can have a knock on effect and also damage the piston itself then the cylinder so without stripping who knows! why did you do a commpression test anyhow performance down, smokey engine etc
  14. and your queen slag :smash:
  15. 150 or therabouts is a good healthy engine 120 is worn but not drastic if figures like 70-100 were shown then id be more worried!
  16. the term used is always a risk and generally comes with no warranty either! its all good and well fitting a 2nd hand set of turbos but unless they have been tested how long will they last?once engine is pulled and a labour charge is incured do you A spend a fair bit more for a set of reconed turbos or do you B fit a set with no guarantee of how much longetivity you may get  i know what id do myself.
  17. best thing to do is put the phone down and try again might find a brit amongst it all PMSL
  18. or you can run it through the air con evaporator hose in the passenger footwell or by the battery you can pass it via the wing and in between the door jamb then run it under the plastic seal under the carpet behind seats HTH greg
  19. the rear bolt is a fiddle at the best of times 14mm spanner, but you will need a thin one could always take your spanner to the grinder once pipes are removed and gas removed IIRC you have 2 14mm bolts underside which will need to be acessed underneath car! radiator removed is always a good idea then you have the ones your asking for one at the front and 1 at the rear, once there removed then your left with the pulley and bracket 3x14mm bolts and 1x12mm at the front, then bracket can be removed!
  20. il be in my old 300
  21. its nowt to do with weight of course it weighs a bit but the more important thing is the air con rad sits in front of radiator which obviously restricts airflow to the main radiator! with air con removed the main rad will get more air to it reducing running temps by several degrees!and free up a small amount of power, and you never need to replace the belt for a/c :p
  22. id avoid nissan main stealers if you can, unless you know the mechanic and he has experiance around the 300 welcome by the way ps..there are experianced z specialists in the traders section z-tech! zen!
  23. whenever i see leigh when he pops up z-tech or at a meet the mans always happy and enthusiastic, now!! i see mr greddy and hes always fookin miserable  LOL remain optimistic,i cant imagine the pain you suffer day to day bud,but to know people are here whenever you want to have a chat bit of banter :smash: take care matey and stay strong  greg
